Oh they definitely do!

Legend has it that at the stroke of midnight on Christmas Day, Shirl and Ell the gargoyles can be seen coming to life as they summon their demon master to placate their rivalry. They screech and flap their wings at each other and they chant "MICK! MICK! MICK!", he soon arrives in a bolt of lightning and a clap of thunder along with his hundreds of Carter cherubs to cheer him on.



I'm getting way too into this. There should be some horror themed specials of EastEnders.
