Stephen is 6ft 3 and is a very big bloke but I had to laugh when he was dwarfed by Greg Davies in the brilliant 'Man Down' this week.
![]() I wonder if Greg could play a villain or hardman? A gangster played by a man of his towering size and build could be bloody intimidating in Walford! |

I thought he looked mid 50s at the most.
Edit: Just checked and the actor's 52. |

At first it did sound ridiculous - a bloke Kathy married in South Africa turns out to be her ex-husband's new wife's dad. However if you think about and piece together what we've been told its not that much of a stretch. Den's solicitor recently confirmed to Sharon that her adoption was done privately and Den personally knew her biological father. Now Kathy moved to South Africa in 1998 to live with her brother Ted who already resided there, Ted and Kathy had grew up in Walford and knew Den when they were kids. So its now looking very likely that the mysterious Gavin was also an old friend of Den and Ted when they were young - hence the adoption of Sharon. And Kathy marrying an old mate of her brother is entirely plausible.
At first i groaned at the idea but once I accepted that Gavin could also have been an ex Pat who knew Ted from London it is a lot less co-incidental. It is also certainly better than the other talked about options like Pete, Arthur etc being her father. |

But another thought. What if 'Gavin' is infact an alias of Den's? He could have faked his death a second time and took up with Kathy. Ridiculous to the extreme I know, but I said the same about Kathy coming back a few months ago. |
