Alex Walkinshaw should have been Mick Carter.
Alex is a great actor, good sense of humour and very likeable. Hopefully he finally moves on to EastEnders - it's where he belongs.

Good call, he's great. I don't mind Danny D though when they tone his screen time down.

Danny Dyer as Mick Carter just rubs me up the wrong way. He can't do anything right in my books.

Danny Dyer may have been Carl White if things turned out differently.
Kellie Bright could have been Tanya Branning if she beat Jo Joyner for the role. |

That's actually not a bad idea. I'm growing increasingly weary of Mr Dyer and his cringey attempts at acting.

I think Danny is great as Mick. However I wouldn't mind seeing Alex in the show.

I don't have anything against him as an actor, he was passable in The Bill but I find him totally out of olace in Holby. |

I like Alex and wouldn't mind him in Eastenders. However, I don't think that he should have been Mick. I like Danny Dyer as Mick. He plays the character, well. Also, he works well with Kellie Bright.

Alex is currently on Holby, sharing a scene with Gillian Wright (Jean Slater)

I really can't picture him as Mick.

If it gets him off Holby City I'm all for it.
I don't have anything against him as an actor, he was passable in The Bill but I find him totally out of olace in Holby. I watched a bipolar brain surgeon operate on Zainab who just happened to be a brain surgeon herself. Fantastic!

Watching Holby City and can't help but notice that Danny-Boy Hatchard (Lee) looks quite a bit like Alex Walkinshaw, even in the mannerisms. They would have made a very believable father and son.

Alex needs to be in Eastenders. It has to happen. I can only see Danny as Mick though.

I think Danny Dyer is good but they give him too much whiny angst BS at times, sometimes I just want him to man up and stop crying. He keeps playing the victim too much when his wife is the biggest victim. When they get the character right I think he's good.

I love Alex Walkinshaw and Danny Dyer. I was disappointed when Alex left Casualty as I don't like Holby. He does need to be in a London based show really, doesn't he?!

I would like to see Alex Walkinshaw, Chris Simmons and Jeff Stewart in Eastenders.

Aye but that was just a bit-part character.
