If it gets him off Holby City I'm all for it.
I don't have anything against him as an actor, he was passable in The Bill but I find him totally out of olace in Holby.
I like Alex and wouldn't mind him in Eastenders. However, I don't think that he should have been Mick. I like Danny Dyer as Mick. He plays the character, well. Also, he works well with Kellie Bright.
Watching Holby City and can't help but notice that Danny-Boy Hatchard (Lee) looks quite a bit like Alex Walkinshaw, even in the mannerisms. They would have made a very believable father and son.
I think Danny Dyer is good but they give him too much whiny angst BS at times, sometimes I just want him to man up and stop crying. He keeps playing the victim too much when his wife is the biggest victim. When they get the character right I think he's good.
I love Alex Walkinshaw and Danny Dyer. I was disappointed when Alex left Casualty as I don't like Holby. He does need to be in a London based show really, doesn't he?!
