Don't worry - he'll survive.....eventually. All this is down to Kirins father!!
Rakesh has caused problems with Kirin, Vannessa, Adam, Moira, Victoria, Adam, Ashley and Laurel!! All through a selfish false-letter!!
I reckon he needs to be executed in true Emmerdale-style!!

Well, not burning stakes or hanging him - but some other nice way!

I agree, except for Laurel. Replace her with Sandy () and Harriet and I'm with you.

Although in essence it comes down to Vanessa and Adam not being able to keep their legs shut. If they hadn't slept together there would have been no question that Kirin wasn't the father.

Emmerdale was absolutely phenomenal tonight. That scene in the toilet with Ashley and Laurel whee she defied his heartfelt pleas and drank the wine anyway had me in tears! Ashley looked so let down.

Personally I find Emmerdale unmissable right now. I wish I could say the same for the rest of the soaps.

Apart from Val, what comedy?
I didn't think it was 'great'. A slight improvement maybe. Still nowhere near what it was.

What do you mean what it was?. Curious as I've only watched for about 5/6 years.

I enjoyed VAl doing an 'Only Fools and Horses ' fall.I don't understand why Laurel took the drink in her mouth and then spat it out.

she didn't want to drink it, but it was show of defiance for Ashleys benefit.

I'm not sure if I'm right here, but I think Laurel swigged the wine to get Ashley off her back one way or the other. He was totally crowding her, and despite her asking him to just leave her alone for a moment, he continued to badger her. She was desperate to gather her thoughts, so spitefully drank it, so he would lose his patience and leave her be.

Ashley had the best of intentions and he obviously thought she was going to do something stupid so did what he thought was best, I actually cried when she gulped the wine after Ashley's heartfelt pleas. But was glad that she immediately spat it out.

I thought it was fine but not brilliant. I like Victoria ad a character but she wasn't convincing in last night's ep. Maybe she's not up to a big story like this at tje moment.

Loved Harriet putting Marlon in his place though! I really like Harriet these days. Since she gave up vicaring she's vastly improved.

I'm loving Harriet now too! Looking forward to 'Harriet P.I. Investigates' when Robbie sets her off to track down Victoria soon! Emmerdales very own Jessica Fletcher!

I agree. Its about time the 'Arms' was put in his place. He is such a drip of a character.

Imo the scenes where Laurel admitted she was an alcoholic were superior. A tawdry whose the daddy storyline doesn't come close.

This is not Rakesh,s fault. Admittedly he hasn't helped, and is uncomfortable about it, but he never started it.

I agree. I've watched it sporadically for donkeys' years. But it is compulsory viewing now and has been for months. I think it is the best soap at the moment.

Vanessa and Adam werent driving the car. We can all blame relationships breaking down for our actions but seriously........ Victoria was in no state to get behind a wheel in the first place............ Laurels a drunk & would of manouvered better Victoria manically tried to run down Adam in the first place !.

People cheat its a fact of life, if your that upset then stay out of the potentially killing machine that is a car. Victoria was driving ! Therefore Adam and Vanessa are blameless.

Everyone can blame anyone and anything for their actions, at the end of the day we are all responsible for what we choose to do.

That's very true. But in soap terms, it's much more fun to blame Adam, because he's a chump and I dislike him.
