Sim card question
I have a Samsung S5 which has a micro sim and my wife is receiving an S6 on Thursday which has a nano sim, both are on pay monthly contract with Vodafone. However it it seems like she now doesnt want the S6 and would rather have my S5. If this happens(hopefully it does) is there a way to swap my number over to the nano sim and her number over to the micro sim? Thanks

Call Vodafone.
They will probably just issue you with 2 new SIMs. These will have different numbers but when you put them in the handsets your old numbers will be transferred over. Just like when you get a new phone on upgrade. Probably best to do each one separately. You call them for yours and she calls them for hers. Big companies can't do more than one thing at a time without screwing everything up! ![]() Wait till you have both of them to do the swap since the numbers won't swap until you put the new SIMs in. Vodafone retail stores can do it for you too. Found this with a quick search. Vodafone do it free apparently. http://kenstechtips.com/index.php/ho...micro-sim-card "Vodafone can replace your SIM card with a new Micro SIM or Nano SIM totally free of charge. It can take up to 15 minutes to do this at a Vodafone retail store. Alternatively, contact Vodafone Customer Services on 191 and they should be able to send you a SIM card through the post." |
