The last actor (and I'm using the word actor very loosely here) was exposed as a sex pest? i just read that the last young lad who played Ben Mitchell was arrested for a gay rape or something serious (it is sexual assault). So i was wondering if that was why they wrote out Ben for a while and then recast him with the far better new young ac tor who is playing him now. The previous boy Joshua somethingorother was only about 16 or 17 when he was arrested for a gay sexual assault. I wondered if this was why they recast Ben so quickly after they already had recast him a few times.

There was no evidence and it was thrown out of court. Maybe you should do further research before bringing back up a horrible event that nearly ruined the young lad's life.

Joshua Pascoe also said on twitter he wasn't even asked about coming back.

I would hardly call the recast of Ben quickly, as there was a two year gap for the character.

The 2nd Ben was just a weirdo
