Honor 4X or extra £40 for the basic ASUS ZenFone 2?
My wife is looking for a new larger phone and was hoping to pay less than £150.
I was wondering if it's worth paying the extra money for the Asus ZenFone 2? The only problem I can see with the Honor 4X is the lack of Gorilla Glass and also the buttons do not illuminate at the bottom. Will there be any problems with different 4G bands with either in the UK (she is on Tesco at the moment so they use O2). She has the Moto G 4G Gen 1 at the moment, but was thinking the Gen 2's screen is not that much larger (even though it seems a great phone still). I'm guessing there will be no probs with the 8gb of memory on the Honer as apps can be moved to the SD card? Seen them both on Amazon here: Honor 4X Asus ZenFone Cheers, Mark. |

I have the 4gb Zenfone 2 and it'd a brilliant phone. With the phone you linked to on Amazon, its worth checking which version of the phone it is. The TW (Taiwan) and Chinese versions do not support band 20lte which O2 use (the specifications on the Amazon link show all the different versions lte band support). I got my father in law to pick mine up in Singapore as they were selling the international version, but he did look in Taiwan and honk kong and could not find the international version anywhere
