As friendly and clever as he is,im worried she will be booked from now until forever.

Seeing the poor dog lunge around like a rag doll night after night would just be wrong.
Does anyone else worry she is planning a whistlestop tour?

A Mattisse Meltdown is what scares me.

I hope she plans a UK tour spanning numerous arenas and tour dates. I'd definitely go see Jules & Matisse: Barking Mad live at either the Leeds First Direct or Manchester Arena.

Nope , if she wouldn't let Matisse walk a tightrope even though he's perfectly able to because he doesn't like heights, and because she doesn't want to overwork her dogs, she's not going to let them be be worked non stop on a tour is she?

I think it would be interesting if she did but not if it meant risking the health of the dogs. Surely there's a chance she might do a arena tour but with a smaller number of arena dates than your typical arena tour?

That would be great, I would love to see that. I'd like to see a book and dvd too, and I'm hoping she'll be on one of the stands at Crufts next year.

Why have a DVD when you could have a 3D Bluray?

I personally hope she gets her dream of a child's TVs show with Matisse being the hero. She mentioned it in her first audition.

The answer is simple:

Just get 10 dogs and pass them all off as Mattisse.

According to some it will be fully ok for then to spend their money on that and be conned.

Well aren't you a vile little cretin.

Also, note if they go to a live show, they need a ticket. Which cost money, some of which will go to Jules. So if someone wants to pay to heckle her then be removed from the arena whilst she laughs all the way to the bank I'm sure she won't mind at all.

Didn't think that one through did you.

How about we all shout at and heckle you?

It's just as fair (ie: not).

Jules is a long time dog trainer. She knows her dogs and is certainly is not going to let any harm come to them. I believe she has to go on the BGT Tour which is about 20 stops, isn't it, but if Matisse, or any of her other dogs , aren't up to it, she'll just change her act to work around it.

I think the future for Jules is books on dogs or dog training. Maybe getting gigs training dogs for TV or the movies, like Hollywood's Rudd Weatherwax of Lassie fame and innumerable other dog movies.

Plenty of dogs were "passed off" as Lassie, all of them males. When will you guys get it through your heads that the talent was Jules and the little playlets she devised to entertain.

You do realise that having lots of dogs doesn't make the act easier, don't you?

"That dog act was really impressive, what a clever dog & trainer"
"Actually, if you look closely, it was two dogs"
"Oh well that's rubbish then, anyone can do that if they have two dogs. What a con."

This. Two acting dogs is harder than one.

Have you got any idea how difficult it is to train ONE dog to do tricks, then be able to go and perform them faultlessly in font of hundreds of people? The dog learns the trick after many many many hours of patience, perseverance and hard work. They practice the routine over and over and over and over until it's perfect. Over weeks and weeks because to get the best results you train little and often. Once yor confident in your routine in your training space, you go on a stage. Only this isn't an empty training ground, which only has you and the dog, this is a totally new different environment, with hundreds of strange people and a thousand differnet smells, lights, cameras and a hundred other distractions. Yet you have trained your dog to the point of being able to ignore all of these, concentrate on you, take its cues and do the routine flawlessly, all the while remembering your own part in it and controlling the dog. That is one hell of a talent. To be able to do this with two dogs is even harder, with three it becomes even more difficult. Yet she managed to control, work and direct three dogs and not one put a paw wrong. I fail to see how some are saying she's less talented for working three dogs than two. It's like saying someone who can juggle three objects is less talented than someone who can juggle four.

And I would certainly pay to go to a show and see 10 dogs on stage without hesitation.

Are some deliberately pretending to just not get it?

'Oh 10 dogs on stage' No the idea is to have 10 dogs and only use one and conning people that they are seeing Mattisse.

'The act is the trainer' - Crap! The act has the word "Mattisse" in it. That's the name of the dog and the one that should have been doing all the tricks as that is the act. Says so in the title.

Presumably very stupid people won't bother to go?

People who pretend that they voted for her and now feel cheated, for example.
