Would you not put Pete in that category? Admittedly he wasn't much of a character and was played by a poor actor but he was somewhat of a hard man with a temper back in the day, not someone who is walked all over like Billy. And Pete and Kathy were reasonably successful financially as well certainly more well off than the majority of their Walford neighbours.
