What's wrong with that? the Fallout games are incredibly popular why change a winning formula?

War. War never changes. And neither do the graphics it seems

Still, the Fallout games were never meant to look pretty. Part of the charm is trawling through those endlessly depressing ruined brown landscapes. I'm still very much looking forward to this instalment.

I'm really glad that this has finally been confirmed but while the graphics looked really smooth, they did look a tad cartoon-y. A bit like Black Ops sort of graphics and that's what always turned me off that part of the CoD franchise. Although if the gameplay is anywhere near the last two Fallout games I'm sure I can get used to it.

Hopefully this one won't have invisible walls everywhere or invisible rocks that you can't shoot through.

Come on. It's Bethesda. As much as I love TES & Fallout they are bug ridden hell-holes at launch (and beyond).
I think the invisible walls will be gone and they won't have to gimp the console versions this time and we'll have a huge playable area.

And that's exactly what most Fallout fans want. F3 was such a great game that it kept people playing for years. I played it from 2008 up 'til I changed to XB1. Even when I'd cleared the game of enemies, been everywhere and done everything, I kept going back just to wander around and soak up the atmosphere.
I'd be perfectly happy if F4 was no more than 'the same old thing'.

I can't recall any invisible walls, although I did get stuck in the scenery a few times.

E3 trailer http://youtu.be/InxJ59Netms

There'll be a Pip Boy mobile app & a collectors Pip Boy edition which will include an actual Pip Boy which goes on your wrist, as seen in this video http://youtu.be/H86cZwjdGwU

All this will be with you on November 10th

I'll be happy not watching or reading anymore news on this game until I play it now

I love the amount of customisation available to each individual weapon.

I really don't like Tuesday releases, they invariably arrive late.

Exactly 2 years to the day I predicted the Pip-boy edition:

Posted in the thread - "After E3 - PS4or Xbox One", 14th June 2013.

Get a second iPod running holster and I'll be wearing my phone on my forearm like a Pip-Boy 3000.

Or is that too nerdy?
Loving everything I saw.
Maybe with the Radscorpions and Molerats emerging from beneath the ground, Dogmeat will actually be a necessary companion for detecting subterranean enemies?

I found myself skipping some of the gameplay footage to try and avoid too many spoilers. I felt like they showed a lot of stuff off which is good in one respect but not so great for not spoiling the overall experience.

That was porn.

The bad:
- Voice narration. Going straight to 0%
- Speech options still look terrible (although as it was early game things may improve)
- Creatures spawning from the ground. I like to scope out things and plan ahead, if creatures spawn randomly that feels alittle cheap to me.

The good:
+ Much improved real time character creation.
+ Real time construction and it being optional (rip DayZ, H1Z1, Rust and all it's clones)
+ The sheer amount of crafting options
+ Dynamic world, instructing the dog to pick up a tool to fetch and it brings it back to you in it's mouth was pretty awesome. Not sure how it's going to pick up an Incinerator though....
+ The world looks awesome
+ Combat looks improved over 3 and NV.
+ Jetpacks!

The uncertain:
/ Unless I missed it, all gameplay in the video was outside, they did not enter any static buildings, thus, we do not know about the loading times, or lack of.
/.Bethesda.net, hello paid mods?

I just ordered the PS4 version. Took a few tries though because the Game site was acting weird.
