Oh really? Whoops, i've just been trying to ignore him, didn't think to talk to him!
Yeah, you can choose where to send them too, so you can just pick them up again at any time.

That's good to know, I thought I was going to have to build a settlement or something before I could go it alone.

I'm stuck in Covenant stores. The door suddenly locked and despite the time of day remains locked. If I steal a key I'm immediately killed. Any ideas. My previous saves would take me back hours.

If there is a chair in the area you could try sitting on it and hopefully use the wait function to see if the store will unlock again a few hours later.

I like it I like t a lot, but so many things could be improved.

I was waiting on this to decide My game of the year, after playing Fallout for day I'm choosing The Witcher 3.
Good choice, the witcher 3 rightfully deserves game of the year.

Thanks, tried waiting on the chair several times but to no avail. I finally escaped by fast traveling.

Is it Witcher 3 or is it Fallout 4? Or maybe MGS5 will steal it. The new annual debate for the coveted 'Game of the Year'. I'll be over here not giving a toss again. Pretty sure I've enjoyed both for different reasons. Pretty sure I can pick faults at both as well.

Back to Fallout 4 - Has anyone had a settlement attacked yet? I know it's part of the settlement building but I'm not sure how it's indicated.

Yes, I've had them attacked. At one, 3 super mutants attacked while I was there and I was about to start firing when there was a huge explosion. Looking at the bodies, one of them was labelled 'suicide mutant', or something like that Took out one of my turrets and the other two mutants! Also had one attacked by ghouls and I've come back to Sanctuary to find raider bodies strewn across the floor, defences obviously doing their job

It should tell you when one is attacked and encourage you to go protect it.

I saw my first one of those in Diamond City. They have a flashing chest and just run directly at you. I thought 'None of that' popped around a corner, and like you said, saw a massive explosion. Dogmeat then appeared around the corner. Pretty awesome and strange and terrifying at the same time.

Yeah, I think I got killed by a suicide molerat early on. I was fighting a gang of them and then suddenly blew up. Bit unexpected!

I had a message pop up telling me one was under attack.
I fast travelled there and helped out against some raiders.

After 25+ hours I'm really loving this so far.
Ghouls behaving like zombies. And staying alive after you blow their limbs off.
Radiation storms.
Regenerating/mutating super mutants.
Improved enemy AI.
Random spawning of Radscorpions/Molerats etc.
THE POWER ARMOUR!!!!

Some annoying things too.
My main gripe is the excessive use of throwables by enemies. They seem to have unlimited grenades/molotovs. It's almost like playing COD:WaW at times.

One glitch:
I can't build anymore!???
It was fine at first.
Built a house, power generation, some defenses.
Now it won't allow me to place things on the ground. They just hover in mid air.
I'm not starting over. If they starve or are unhappy, fukum. I am the Lone Wanderer.

Does Fallout 4 suffer from the usual Bethesda problem of shops not having enough cash to buy your items. The amount of times I spent fast traveling in Skyrim to try to sell stuff was ridiculous. Or has the scrapping items become the best way to get rid of stuff.

Only started playing this yesterday and one glitch had me puzzled. On my way to Concorde, I stopped in a house to get some sleep and my dog told me there was something that needed my attention in the bedroom. It later turned out to be a safe, but at the time it wasn't labelled at all and dog would not leave it. I had to go out of the house and muck about for a while until the label appeared and I could tackle it (I couldn't actually unlock it due to my low skill level) and then dog would leave it.
I'm thinking of ditching Dog as he has a tendency to get me into trouble - as I was giving him a stimpak in Concorde I was punced upon by a bl**dy deathclaw.

Think I'm going to abandon the dog too especially while sneaking I'm pretty sure it's him getting noticed.

It's just taken me about 20 minutes to discover how to ditch the power armour!

I think i've made an unholy mistake only having 2 points in Endurance. This game is much harder than 3 was.

Thank God it's not just me.

This is the first Fallout game I've ever played, but the learning curve even on 'very easy' is brutal. Skyrim certainly wasn't this hard.

Metal gear solid is a truly phenomenal experience, one hell of a journey. A shame it's really bombed on the xbox hard....

However the attention to detail, intriguing side quests, (some of wich could of had there own main story) and non linear approach of the witcher. Just edges it for me. I also praise the developers approach to the free dlc, and thank you letters, that all buyers of the product should of had.

I got Piper as a companion. For some reason she likes it when I pick locks. She must have some News of the World reporter in her blood.

So far I'm loving the game but it's rather hard and I'm only playing on normal. Bobby trap bombs are instant death now rather than just a broken leg.

Pipers become my preferred companion at the moment. Likes when you picks locks, doesn't like it when you act murderous or evil though just as a heads up. Seems like we have to keep companions 'Happy' in this one.

I've been using the detective as a companion. He likes it when you hack terminals but doesn't like it when you sit down and wait.

Anyone got any legendary loot yet? All I got was a leg piece of a legendary Ghoul.

I encountered one of the giant bosses earlier. He destroyed me the first time, the second however I hid in the subway entrance where he could not get me and casually shot him with the 10mm pistol. I have the power fist now which is a bit of a beast.
