Ha! I spent all afternoon trying to install electric light in my shelter at Sanctuary
It's working now.I bet I've spent more time sorting out my virtual homes more than I have my real one. ![]() Does taking the Castle effect your standing with the factions? |

I don't know about the PS4 version but on the X1 version if you press the view (back) button when looking at the pipboy you zoom in + in you hold the view button you can look around using the right stick.

It's how I'm tracking who does what.
Full armour for guards & provisioners. They also get the best guns. AR or laser rifle plus sidearm and a few throwables. (I was so proud of one of my provisioners when she took out a band of raiders single handed. I kept an eye on her with my sniper rifle making sure she didn't get hurt. Girl did her job well.) Armour on leg is farmer Helmet for artillery Armour on arm for scavenger I would put them in PA but I've taken to making a Tony Stark workshop at The Castle. I've arranged my 12 PA suits around the inner wall with a different paint job on the complete sets. That's a good idea, mine are just in a mish mash of whatever I had left over! I presume you have to give them ammo for the guns too? I wasn't sure though, I mean they seem to have infinite ammo for the guns they had before. |

There are connectors on every panel. All wired. It's like Xmas lights. There's always one...
Is there a Picket Fences that gives you different coloured lights? I'd like some tactical reds to match my PA headlamp. I don't know. Not found the coloured lighting yet. I remember it was promised. Is it in the game? |

Romanced Cait, which took about 50 'likes' to be possible. The journey is better than the destination - now that we're a couple I don't see the need to take her anywhere!
Pretty much all I have left to do in the game is discover ever possible building or area. The map gets disorientating as everything's so close together, and the compass doesn't tell you whether you've already been somewhere as you're approaching it (meaning you have to open the map to find out), which is a bit annoying. |

totally agree the filled and unfilled triangles on the compass in fallout 3 was easier. how many locations are there? |

Anyone encountered a guy who wants to sell you a dog? He breeds them apparently. I was worried it would replace Dogmeat so was hesitant, but does it enable you to have 2 dogs as he says it would be a playmate?

Anyone come across a pair of Synths being threatened by a nasty bloke? When I gave him what for, he killed me! I went back to the same place, but they weren't there. This was on my way to the NG training yard, not far from that big sinkhole. |

I haven't given them extra ammo. Seems fine so far. Quote:

how many locations are there? As for the compass. The undiscovered locations are hollow. Discovered are solid. The same system as Skyrim. Quote:

Bumped into a guy trying to sell me a credit card though. Bumped into the two Arts fighting it out again. First time one had the other on his knees, pleading for his life (I had to reload after killing the wrong one). They weren't in the same place after that. This time I let them finish the fight and checked which one was which. Took out that Synth Pod-person. |

My sniper rifle and pistol now both have suppressors. With the stealth/crit perks I'm one-shotting almost everything, and if things get hairy I just mop up with my shotgun. I've not attempted the mirelurk queen yet, I'll probably have to bring a companion for that. So far I'm playing without a companion, they just annoy me.
Valentine has the same voice actor as Mercer Frey, the corrupt thieves guild leader from Skyrim. Every time he speaks I think he's going to talk about Karliah

I built the folks in Sanctuary a really nice tree house shelter/fort. Took me ages only for their happiness to raise a whole 1%. The miserable so and so's.
I wish I could move all the frozen bodies out of vault 111. That would be a far better settlement imo. |

I can't be bothered building things for settlers. I'm just going find one place and pimp it out for myself.

I wish I'd used the castle as my main settlement. However I only started the minute men quest last night and discovered the castle , and I've invested too much time and resources in sanctuary.

It has 19 settlers and is heavily fortified at 297 defence. Plenty of food and water. With about 20 generators running. Didn't stop me expanding to The Castle. It's my 2nd home and where I've moved all my Power Armour to for my Iron Man showcase. Abernathy Farm, Nordhagen Beach, Tenpines Bluff & (after finally being able to build the beacon (weird glitch)) Starlight Drive-In complete my list. Greentop Nursery, The Slog & Outpost Zimonja are next up for colonisation. There's plenty of scrap to find to expand and maintain all 30 settlement sites. I'm hoping for a mod to build settlements wherever you like. |

I marched over there when I was a lowly level 5. I got wrecked by some mirelurks on the way and then found the door to the museum chained shut anyway.
I started using the power fist earlier. It sure packs a punch and it has helped save my ammo. I did have to use 2 nukes though after getting hijacked by 2 legendary mutants with miniguns.
Spoiler
It scared the shit out of me I recommend anyone check it out but save before traveling as getting there is pretty tough, it's a rather scary Museum

![]() I started playing it again until I got out the fault and the graphics are still pretty good I think. Once fallout 4 is done, I'm gonna go back to fallout 3 as it is a classic and one of my fave games ever!! |

I really wish they will add more ready made homes in future updates etc. Can't be bothered with building rubbish shacks. |

I would like ready made things too, I love roaming about on my own just following noises and signals etc, I want to get Into the building part but I know if I start id be at it hours and I would rather be exploring in that time.
With work etc I don't get a lot of free time to play sadly. |

Can companions die? I never take anyone with me because I don't want to babysit an AI making sure they don't get killed.

Currently level 17 now, just on the big brotherhood of steel ship. Doing my utmost to avoid Mirelurks. I hate Mirelurks, I am genuinely petrified.
