If it's the X1 version and the console is set to instant on mode you might be able to trigger the download remotely using xbox.com.

Do you have to wear it for the whole thing? Or can out wear it under your power armour and still have it work?

I'm not a fan of the power armour. I just collecting them rather than wearing it. I probably make life a lot easier for me if I did wear it more.

The amount of different robot bits available is mental, they've proper gone to town here. Need to decide on a theme for all the new robot names, might go with footballers or maybe tv presenters/news readers.

How long do you have to wear the Shroud?
I did not wear it in the initial fight but may redo this if its worth it.

I started the Automatron DLC today but have now reached a bit where I can't go any further. I've to build a body for Jezabel but every time I try, I get a message saying, "you lack the requirements to build an automatron" and lists this I need like aluminium, runner, ceramic etc.

I went to the Diamond City market & bought more than enough of what was needed but when I try again, I keep getting the same message telling me I need the same things & I can't progress any further

Good you got it sorted. I been lucky so far that I haven't had any major bugs.

I believe like others have said you just need to wear the Silver Shroud costume at the end. I wore mine all the way through because I didn't know when I'd get to meet the Mechanist at the time.

I don't know what I done with my Silver Shroud suit once I completed all the missions. I think I sold it! Can't see it in storage unless I stashed it some place "safe".

Just finished the DLC this evening. Really glad I had worn power armour or else I'd have died a lot!

Me too! Those big sentrybot type robots (can't remember what they were called) pummelled in me lots. If I wasn't wearing the PA I would have died loads. Had to be quick on the stimpak use as it was.

I wore the SS costume underneath but can't say I noticed any special dialogue so not sure it works with PA. but then I sometimes zone out when they are in a long conversation.

I never noticed any special dialogue but my charisma is full anyway so maybe the dialogue options I got were the same as what I would've had with the shroud costume. I managed to talk the machinist round to end it all non violently

I have a Two Shot Gauss rifle I found in the Glowing Sea that does a serious amount of damage that I keep in backup for especially tough opposition like this.

Just started up the X1 version and it has offered me a 450mb update but can't find out what it is for.

I wish they let us make metal steps in the workshop. In Mechanist's lair wooden stairs won't look nice so I'm scared I'll scrap the metal stairs already there by mistake.

I'm going to store all my power armour in there and pretend it's my Iron Man type hideout.

I had something similar happen to me it seems to be that it tells you that you need say 6 of the resource but you actually need more than that available in your resources.

I've got about 9 ashtrays (say) for ceramic, yet it tells me I only have 3 in the component view?

Have you tried storing them in the actual robot workshop and seeing if that works?
