Not blown away by those screenshots, but they're not terrible either. It looks too colourful for Fallout. Disappointing to see they're obviously still using their engine which was derived from Gamebryo.

Bethesda could take some lessons from CD:Projekt Red.
I like the more vibrant colour palette. Whenever I see visual mods on pc for games like Fallout, it always seems like the most popular ones are the ones that try to make the game look all vibrant and colourful like that, and try to take out the filters and smog. Now it looks to be like that by default and I think that's a good thing. I actually had a couple of mods for the pc version of fallout 3 that I think tried to make it less green and more like those new screenshots.

What has being an engrossing game got to do with whether the textures look crap or not?
Because if a game is great, no-one except a few graphics-fanciers gives a toss.

Does anyone know who has the best chance of delivering game early? I've got the 9th booked off but could not get the tenth.

I've used shopto in the past but it's been hit and miss.

Amazon are useless so good luck. Everytime late for me for every single game. no longer buy from them.

Not worrying about pre-order delivery dates this time - my birthday is on the 12th, and unless my wife is actually entirely incompetent when it comes to interpreting my hints (I wasn't subtle, lets put it that way) I'll be getting it on the 12th...

10th - 12th will be spoiler avoidance blackout!!!

Looks like someone has been posting videos of this online. I for one am going to wait until it's released next week and not spoil the surprise.

Also pretty sure I read the devs confirmed that the Fallout 4 wasteland will still be open after the main story is done.

After getting a lot of stick for it last time and fixing it with the DLC you would hope they would have learnt something.

I have an impossible quandary I'm getting FO4 for Christmas from the wife so do I stay off the internet or spoil it for myself???

About this time next week I'll be completing my supply run at the local Asda.

Doesn't seem that long ago I was watching the E3 Bethcon.

As I was in the first 10k to order the PipBoy edition I was entitled to some extra free stuff.
Got my Vault 111 t-shirt in the post on Saturday and this morning my bobblehead turns up in the post. Thought they'd turn up with the game Tuesday.
Maybe that will come early?

I'll tell you now.
It's a bug ridden mess. It wouldn't be Bethesda otherwise.
But I'm going to love every Nuka Cola-drinking, rad-soaked minute of it.

It's a single player only action RPG. It can be played in either first or third person.
The 'campaign' can last well over 100 hours.
