did anyone notice Vincent called Sharon "princess"? Den used to call her the same thing. a coincidence, I don't think so?

I think it is more likely he remembered Den talking about 'My Princess.'

This whole Vincent and his "connections" seems to be getting awfully elaborate. What next I wonder? Sharon "suddenly" remembering that Vincent was at her wedding to Grant? Or Vincent being revealed as the daffodil assassin?

I thought he was talking to Pearl.

They did the same with Johnny Allen too, making him a part of walfords past pre 1985. I wonder if Vincent knew Johnny.

Vincent is her dad

Let us not forget that Vincent hand delivered Rebecca when Big Mo got a bit queasy, was the true father of Michelle's baby, and single handedly uncovered the body of Reg Cox in 1985.

Didn't Max have a black friend and Jim and Derek didn't approve of the friendship?

He was calling Pearl "princess". It was deliberate by the writers to remind Sharon of Den Watts, her dad.

He was talking to his daughter. Completely innocent scene between the two of them. When you look at it from the writer's pov they needed to soften the blow between Vincent and Sharon if they're splitting The Albert. She needed to see him in a different light. If you're looking at it from the audience's pov it's all about pity for Sharon and humanising Vincent a little.

Sharon had always been Den's "princess" so it was a deliberate move from the writers.

It's love a forest gump style episode where he talks about his past and edit him into lots of big scenes from yester-year

I call that Vincent is Sharon's brother!

We have seen that Vincent is claidetts son but not her biological son as we no she's fosterd many other children inc Donna, my thought is claudett was married to Gavin back in the old days, Vincent has said his dad new den, Gavin got carol pregnant and so as not to upset claudett he got den to take the baby,

Gavin and claud went on to adopt Vincent etc

Now all this doesn't mean Sharon won't get with him! Infant it may even make her more interested

I assumed Claudette was Vincent's biological mother considering his age, its unlikely she became a foster mother at such a young age. It's more likely Vincent is her biological son and she went on to become a foster parent years later taking in Donna and a bunch of younger ones.

This mutual respect thing will be fine until Vincent and Sharon discover their Dads are enemies. There will be another fight for The Albert after that with it probably going back to Sharon completely.

I'd say he was at least 40 as he has a good knowledge of pre-1985 Walford. Claudette cannot be anymore than 60 so I'd guess she was his biological mother as it's unlikely she was fostering kids in her late teens. Both call her mum so she must have had them since they were very young.

That's a very interesting theory. The Mitchells vs the Hubbards. Hope this happens

I've been wondering if they are going to make Vincent a character from the past- which seems to be popular with the writers at the moment. Vincent saying he knew Den, his Dad was friends with him, etc.. he knew Dot, it did make me wonder if they are going down that road. Feasibly the only character he could be is Junior Roberts. It could actually work I think, if people remember the character. It's possible Junior ended up in care, his Dad, Darren, was a petty criminal who knew Den. His Aunt, Carmel, was struggling to cope with looking after him and his sister. Some things don't add up but it might have been fun to consider this as a possibility. Vincent certainly seems to know his Walford history and I think the ages would match up.

I think he's who he says he is. He just wasn't old enough at the time to be actually involved in anything.

Related to the carpenters? Would they go down that road?

I don't know why they would. He's connected to enough people without trying to link him to long forgotten families of the 80s.
