I think they're probably relying on an older audience to buy his album for his voice and quality of the songs (as most people should) so are more actively targeting a young audience that may be swayed by personality and other factors. The thing is Andrea is so naturally likeable that they needn't force it. He has his quirks and is incredibly endearing, and charismatic, without appearing silly. I hope he gets to do some tv interviews soon to remind people of that. The music video will be quite revealing in terms of how they wish to portray him so that will be interesting.
Ultimately people will buy the album if 1) its good enough (a certainty
) 2) if it gets enough exposure. I really can't believe how close everything is, it's madness. I still kind of feel that the tour has only just finished?!

The mature age market is often ignored, Jessika. It took M&S about 20 years to realise that not everyone wants low cut sleeveless dresses and tops and we are not all totally impoverished. We can occasionally afford to buy a few little luxuries like CDs, hats and boxes of choc..........I dare not finish. The list might give me away.

I prefer Andrea singing songs like this, you can hear the emotion in his voice. I like that he's dressed more understated in this video, people can concentrate on his beautiful vocals. Been looking back at your posts about his image. The photo used at the back of his album reminds me of a Louie Spence pose.

Some of the fans got chosen for a special WhatsApp group - apparently Andrea has a new tattoo that says 'oath' after the Cher Lloyd song about friendship (I don't know it), and his best friend got the same one....
Also he did a gig tonight at Westminster and I think it was for ITV, so I hope that bodes well - wouldn't it be great to see him on TV.
Hopefully the WhatsApp group guys can keep us updated about anything else that gets posted on there...
