So, here we are, the 5079th episode of EastEnders. Its been 2 years since I last did an EastEnders episode thread, so I hope you all enjoy it!

Previously, on EastEnders
Sharon met her father for the first time in over 35 years and wanted answers. The adoption crisis escalated when Ian and Jane learnt that Cindy was having issues with the hole thing, so they confronted her. Sharon also confronted Vincent over the fake signature and threatened to call in the police. Les was left red faced and speechless when Grandson Paul revealed that he knew all about the affair. Whilst Abi became suspicious over Ben. The episode ended with another shock, Sharon had bought Gordon home and welcomed him into the family, and revealing that he would be part of her revenge plan against Phil! ending with the revelation that Gordon had been paid to pretend that he was her Dad!

Tonight
The Beales receive a scheduled visit from the social worker and Cindy comes clean about her real feelings, admitting that she wants to be as far away from Beth as possible. The social worker reminds Cindy that Jane and Ian can offer a stable home for Beth and that should be the priority. With her world spiralling as things aren't going her way, Cindy is forced to give Jane and Ian a huge ultimatum.

Paul gives Pam breakfast in bed to help celebrate her birthday. He then heads to The Albert, where Vincent and Claudette agree to arrange a surprise party for Pam. Les is suspicious over Paul's intentions and warns him not to upset Pam. Later at The Albert, Pam senses the tension between the pair as they talk about Claudette and she soon runs off in tears. Does Pam know the truth?

Also today, Lola feels awkward when Abi asks for advice on how to impress Ben in the bedroom. Later, Ben is surprised to find Abi waiting to seduce him. He is initially reluctant, but after seeing how much Abi is hurt and confused, he decides to go for it.

I think Cindy's ultimatum will fall flat and the social worker and Ian plus Jane will say Cindy should move out.
Poor Lola having Abi ask how to seduce Ben! Abi needs to grow a dick! So much for Abi's lies to Ben that she would make it work between them even though Ben fancies men. She's going to have to face facts, Ben likes Paul and no amount of her cloying behaviour is going to change that!

I have to say this week's episodes have actually been really enjoyable.. They've had really good stories and the cliffhangers have actually been proper doof doof cliffhangers.

It's the use of Characters they are using too. I think (for me at least) it shows how little I am bothered by the Carters as a whole.
