Great episode tonight! There was something about it, which made it feel very old school EastEnders, IMO.

Loved the Beale/Jackson drama.
Ben's sexuality storyline is coming along nicely.
Great Sharon & Phil drama.
Brilliant set up with Les/Pam/Paul.
Great cliffhanger.

I bloody loved that! Sharon's certainly learning from the Mitchells! Feel quite sorry for Cindy too, Ian and Jane are like a cult. Coker stuff a bit meh but the rest of it was great!

When will Jane be recognised in show as a sociopath? We obviously know it as viewers but it needs to be dealt with.

Another good episode - some great character-centric scenes.

Still loving Paul

Isn't that how Boris Becker got into trouble?

Why she still lets Ian take charge is beyond me.

I'm surprised Donna wasn't at the party what with Claudette, the Cokers, and presumably Vincent there.

Paul has had a very good start. I like his little revenge plot against Les.

Excellent Sharon episode. I hope she keeps this streak up. She became so wimpy with Phil over the past year, I love seeing her getting her mojo back.

Who is that pretty, bearded bartender extra working at The Albert? Can we see more of him? Like, all the time?

Problem is if you have put the baby up to get her away from an evil "brother" and a family environment full of deceit and lies, to put her in a better place and she ends up "adopted" by said family and if you did it believing it for her own good only to see her every day. Who puts their child up for adoption to then have a social worker place where she will see her everyday? Especially if she is clearly distressed at a situation. at the very least you'd tell the family history even without dropping bobby in it and they would not be able to adopt her

Did you not hear Cindy on the phone being refused to go back to Auntie Gina's at the start of the ep.?

Super episode!

Sharon FINALLY getting the truth out of Phil about "Gordon" especially the "PAY HIM" outburst. Something is going to get kick off with them soon. I do like her friendship with Linda, her heart-to-heart was a good scene.

Cindy re: adoption, I can see why she did it and why she feels Ian and Jane has taken over, and hiding the real truth behind Lucy, Quite sad actually to be honest. Awesome cliff-hanger.

The set-up with Les/Pam/Paul is looking good, especially Paul twigging on about Les's affair with Claudette. Some tension and something more between Les and Paul in my view. Oh and the bearded extra in the bar is yum-tastic

Abi is such a bunny boiler, and that "do you fancy an MOT" line was cringey but funny. I do feel for Ben being conflicted, and this Gordon drama between Phil and Sharon lying about Gordon being her Dad got to him.

This so far is a good week - a chance for the core characters (Jane/Ian/Phil/Sharon) to shine, and some of the newer characters to show what they are made of too.
