Has EE ruined a good character since her re-introduction in 2013?

I do feel her characterisation has been a little messy, they seemed to be gearing up for psycho/Darth Ronnie, but then went in another direction with sweet romance Ronnie, but now back to Darth Ronnie. I think the various breaks for Samanth Womack have not helped though.

I still like Ronnie but I want to see her bond with her son, Matthew. It's a shame we never see Ronnie and Matthew together. Ronnie is still popular but many people are getting tired of her.
