Does anybody else think that Jai is going to be murdered in Emmerdale? The way he is treating Rachel and also having an affair with Leyla makes me think that they (along with Megan) will all have motives to want to harm him in the coming weeks.

I did think Rachel would end up being the one murder, but now you've mentioned Jai, I'm thinking otherwise. It actually would be a great 'Whodunnit?', especially with the amount of people he is getting on the wrong side of.
They're certainly making him really horrible, and lining up lots of possible suspects if he did "accidentally" fall through the bannisters again.
Though my money is on Archie, who is like the kid from the Omen, he spreads disaster everywhere. He can run Jai over on his little trike.

I think Jai is going to live and end up killing Alicia for exposing his affair with Leyla later in the year. Last night's episode appeared to suggest that is where the storyline is going.
They did this with Phil in Eastenders years ago just before his shooting. Turning him really vile to loads of people so there'd be lots of suspects. So I wouldn't be surprised if that's what their going to do with Jai. Hopefully Jai will die. I really hate him!

That's a good theory actually. As I can't see Alicia and David splitting up as they really love each other. At least if Alicia dies Leyla can step in and be a mother to her own son.

I wondered that. I swear though, if Jai kills Alicia, he has to die. Has to.

A good theory, perhaps, but an awful outcome and I will most likely stop watching if it happens.
Leyla is Jacob's mother in biology only - it's been established by all characters involved, including Jacob, that Alicia is his true mother.
If Alicia's exit does turn out to be a repeat of Katie's exit it will just be terrible. I hope this doesn't happen though I am preparing for the worst (since Emmerdale likes to kill off my favourite characters lately)

Seriously though, I guess Alicia has got to go somehow, and they have a problem if they want to bring David back without her. I'd rather she had a big exit storyline than a damp squib, but it would be very similar to Katie. So maybe we're barking up the wrong tree altogether.

I'll walk into the studios and write his death scene myself - it will be particularly gruesome.
I'm hoping that because it has already been done with Katie that they avoid such a story for Alicia's exit. She has to leave the village alive. Whether that means ruining her relationship with David (without an affair) then so be it.

I'm pretty sure it's been confirmed that Megan finds out and plots her revenge secretly in the Summer, so unless she comes back in a few weeks, I can't see this happening.

In self-defence, obviously, and in the public interest. Alicia and Megan killing Jai together in a struggle would be ace.

Now that would be quite the storyline and something I could get behind. If it happens sooner or later perhaps it could be wrapped up by Christmas(?) though these stories tend to run a bit longer usually.
Though I did think Leyla and Megan were going to team up and kill Jai when the promo pictures came out.

Bill Ward is wasted on a nothing sort of character like James. He makes a great villain as anyone who watched him as Charlie Stubbs in Corrie will know. He even shut Norris Cole up. No mean feat! (Hope I got the proper feet).
I think it would be good if he was to be trapped with leyla/Megan/Rachel after a stunt and they kill him before they are released

I can't think that Rachel will kill Jai off, it would be too obvious. I do think she may be one of the ones to die though . That would really cheer Lisa up.
