Marc is a BB legend and teh saving grace of this badly thought out BB. He stirs , he participates , he doesn't arse kiss and he is genuinely trying to keep the house lively

Marc isn't slow to apologise to anyone he offended, or to hand out compliments or be affectionate to his friends. I think you're underestimating his social skills, and the integrity of all the other HMs, if you think he's bullied everyone into shutting up.

All the girls he says it to seem to enjoy his company and he knows it, even Jade loves all the attention he gives her, I am female and I would find him hilarious if I was around him.

I really find what he says banter it's exactly what my group of friends would say to each other and we'd all be laughing,I think it's probably the same with Marc and his group of friends the girls obviously aren't bothered either

All entitled to an opinion. He's riding high at the moment but like everything else we'll soon get fed up of his 'banter'. Bring on the day they he can't get his booze and luxury food and we'll see a different person in my opinion of course.

He just has 'it', that undefinable quality that draws people to them like flies around shit.

But the biggest game we all play is life... and at that Marc is absolutely dire. I find him repulsive, but even I have a tiny (tiny) bit of concern over how this behaviour is going to affect the rest of his life - particularly his career.

Yesss, we all know he's well qualified but if he plans to work in the corporate work - particularly America - how he's behaving is going him no favours at all. What HR would take a risk on someone who's said the things that he has - he has no self-control.

If, as I think most of us suspect, he's really after a media career and thinks that BB will kick-start that for him... we won't hold our breath, not in this day and age. I would have thought that if anyone had the brains to make a go of that it would have been Dexter (especially as he had media knowledge from his time as a pap), but he got spat out back to his old life just like so many before him.

I'd be interested to know his background if anyone has details. He strikes me as an intelligent person who grew up with parents who weren't particularly studious/academic and he doesn't really know who he is - hence the continual need for validation and attention.

I have to agree- the dude has charisma which for me anyway, puts him way above the majority, and indeed the 'norm' in there.

I don't think he has the "it factor" or is special in any way... i just think he's so over confident and believes so strongly in himself that it sort of forces a semblance of it factor into existence.

I know what you're saying, having tried to rationalise the impact of such types myself but having observed them in real life situations, both at work and socially and even without trying they kind of 'sparkle'. Both fascinating and irritating to witness first hand.

There's no point trying to explain why he's funny or trying to persuade anyone that he's funny if they don't think he is.

But all I know is that Marc has given me more laughs since he came in than all the other housemates put together.

This is pretty simple stuff with banter you have to know your crowd. That rule works well in life.

Not quite the same in the BB house though , the housemates cant really get away from any on else or run away. You are pretty much stuck with who ever you're stuck with for a period of time , or the whole show.
After a while you will kinda get used to any banter whether you like it so much or not.
