Got 6-8 ladies coming for lunch in my garden next week ... Weather permitting.

Need some super quick but tasty ideas. was thinking salad plus something tasty. Don't want to use bread or anything fiddly.

If you're doing salads, how about big bowls of chicken Caesar salad or coronation chicken, there are lots of recipes online. Or if they all like fish, poach a salmon, decorate it with the overlapping cucumber slices and serve on a bed of watercress to make it a good looking centrepiece. Just have a potato salad to go with it. For a dessert, buy one in from Costco who do fabulous large gateaux, or make a big trifle or tiramisu the day before.

A big platter of Roasted Chicken pieces - Jacket potatoes with a nice mixed leafy salad

A platter of Some Assorted Houmous olives gherkins celery tomatoes cucumber tomatoes with
some nice cheeses & crackers & big bowl of crisps

A couple of large veggie Quiches & Tabouli and maybe some Sushi

A nice gateaux

or a stack of profiteroles -
or Some - Tiramisu -
or some fruity topped muffiny cakes
