I do think that Tom has a right to have a say with his baby and Peri deciding to have the baby adopted while Tom is against it isn't fair. But Tom doesn't care what Peri wants either and to go behind her back and use her parents death as blackmail to get what he wants is creepy and really wrong. Tom and Cameron are very similar.
I don't think Peri should forgive Tom for that.”
I agree with pretty much all of this. I understand Tom wanting the baby and trying to fight to keep them. I can sympathise with him being anguished that Peri wants to give the child away (although I don't agree with him trying to force her to go through with the pregnancy.) But blackmailing Cameron into agreeing to let him marry Peri, even though she explicitly said she doesn't want to get married, made me lose all sympathy for him. He basically sees Peri and the baby as belonging to him, the way Cameron thinks he somehow owns Leela and Peri. Tom is JUST like Cameron.

Didn't Hollyoaks have a character called Persephone at one point? (I wasn't watching back then)

I used to work with a Marianne! People would frequently call in asking for Mary Anne, Marion, Marina, anything but her real name and she hated it
I'm used to having my surname (which is Chinese) misspelt/mispronounced. My first name is Penelope, and I usually go by Penny, but in Spain I always used the full name because "Penny" sounds like the Spanish word for penis
