Settle this argument please! I say no (it should go straight to voicemail), but my wife says it can. Is it phone or network specific?
Thanks! |

If call waiting is turned on, then yes.
If it isn't, then no |

If I'm currently on a call talking to someone and another is trying to call then an audible tone will go off.
When you look at the screen it tells you who is calling and gives you a couple of options such as to hold current call and answer the new call etc. |

If it isn't, then no Call waiting is a network feature, and as far as I know, all UK networks offer it. You just need to switch it on using your handset (which sends a service code to the network). |

Do networks support call waiting on pay as you go these days? I have only known it to be available when on contract.
