She has been absolutely bad tonight. In fact, she has for weeks but this culminated in epic badness.

They should actually copy her scenes on to a disc and show them in drama schools and use it as a fine example of how never to act out an emotional scene.

It's best if Cindy leaves I think, her acting is just not good enough, not even for a soap.

The character is clearly depressed and I think Mimi is playing it quite well (though not outstanding). It feels realistic enough to me at least.

I thought she was pretty good tonight. I wouldn't call her outstanding but she's fine for a soap actor.

She was very am dram tonight. l don't know what's happened to her. She showed a lot of promise in the past but lately she's just not delivering. Cindy as a character has become very annoying too.

I think Mimi has given us enough good performances to be allowed a pass for some dodgy ones. She is only 16. Lacey Turner at a similar age used to be inconsistent and look how she flourished. Raw talent evolves.

Cindy was the star of the show tonight. I don't understand why people saying Mimi was being over dramatic. The whole essence of post natal depression is dramatic for the person. It is terrifying, confusing, emotional and reactive. She played it so well regarding she is so young. She has raw talent. I hope she in EE for years cause I see her flourish into a big player in the show.

I thought she was good! But I can see why people thought she was awful, it was OTT and loud and she could have toned it down a bit but I thought it worked! I know I've cried like that as a teenager, like knowing I was being too dramatic and hysterical but not being able to stop myself because I was so upset. I feel really sorry for Cindy and scared for Beth.

Agreed, people may not like the way Cindy reacted but I think Mimi did well to convey Cindy's inner turmoil while reminding us that she is still only a teenager and teenagers aren't the best at dealing with strong emotions, so it was realistic.

And they should film you for a day in your job and show that and how not to ever work

Then half the Corrie cast should have given up years ago

Why bring that into it? we are talking about one specific 'actor'

She really was the pits tonight.

This is a thread relating to Cindy from Eastenders, please stay on topic. There was absolutely no need to bring up Coronation Street so please refrain from doing so in future.

They really should, and when they want to do a piece on chidish, petty and arrogant forum members, I will point them to you. Don't worry, me and Mimi will share our camera time with you as well.

She's usually very good but last night, her performances were dreadful. But maybe the actress was ill? My husband and myself couldn't really enjoy Mimi's performances last night. She was brilliant in live week though

Perhaps they're egging Mimi on to give it full pelt in hopes that she will dig her own grave and become the latest casualty in The Kickwood and Oldman Conspiracy Theory.

I feel so sorry for the character .. she's not been allowed her say with anyone in independent authority. And as for Ian kicking her out .. she's still a minor and therefore subject to a right of care and shelter. Jane should have stepped up and intervened at that stage, however selfishly upset at parting with baby Beth she was.

The actress portraying young Cindy is doing a fine job so far - she's still learning her craft after all. I couldn't help wondering on Friday if she'd had something done to make her lips look a bit fuller? Perhaps that was just the shape of her mouth as she played 'Distraught of Walford'.
