Whatever condition Cindy is struggling with, it's horrible to see her being so casually thrown aside while Jane and Ian move in to swipe her baby off her. They seem to have no problems with dismissing the well-being of a member of their family in favour of another to get what they want. They have dismissed Bobby's violent behaviour towards his own sister when she did something he didn't like, now there's obvious signs that the behaviour pattern is continuing where Cindy is concerned with the dark threats/glares towards her. If Jane and Ian had any sense whatsoever, they'd intervene before Bobby ends up lashing out at Cindy, too. (We know it most likely won't happen due to Bobby's age on the show, but realistically, they should be very worried.) I don't blame Cindy at all for not wanting Beth to be near them all. Jane callously dragged her dead step daughter into the boot of her car to then dump her on the commons and lie to everyone she 'loved' for almost a year and Ian has just forgiven and forgotten in order to paper over the cracks. It's obvious that Jane wants Beth because she's too desperate about wanting her own child, she has Bobby but from what I know, she didn't raise him from a baby. Ian just wants a replacement Lucy to forget what damage has happened to the family.

I agree, especially the BIB. Ian and Jane are being incredibly selfish. Jane and Ian's "need" for a baby is over riding Beth's needs and Cindy's needs.
Also Bobby is showing signs of wanting power over Cindy. He has previously asked if he killed Lucy so in my opinion he knows exactly what he did. As Bobby grows up will Beth be safe? If he becomes jealous of Beth what could he do?
