Imagine a t-Rex trying to put a hat on....

I defy anyone not to smile at that mental image.

In order to shake myself out of a negative funk, please tell me.... What makes you smile.

My niece and her obsession with all things One Direction, even to the extent of cutting the head off the traitorous one that left, on all her posters, and sticking a photo of her adorable 7yo face there instead.

The full moon.
Sunny days.
Afternoons/evenings when I don't have to get up for work the next day.
The children's reply to what they liked best about a school trip "the pelicans in the park".

When you see people on the train or the bus smiling or trying not to laugh at a text or something in a book. It's nice to see genuine and spontaneous reactions like that.

ETA: Lovely thread OP.

My son showed me a video earlier of a puppy barking at it's hiccups. That made me smile.

Edit: This one.

The confusion when on the rare occasion dogs do a not to silent trump and look for the source is giggle worthy.

Has he got a tag round his leg? Poor homing pigeon, probably thinks you're his mum. Give him some corn and train him to do tricks. Then go on Britain's Got Talent. Best have a stunt pigeon trained up as well, just in case

Pretty much everything my son says.

He used to call baby wipes 'baby w*nks' and his bum 'cum'. Imagine my embarrassment when he comes out with 'w*nk cum' in public toilets.

My cat when she tears around the house like a mad thing. For a few minutes every day she goes absolutely nuts and it's amazing to watch!

My ex's cat used to lay on me as I slept... She used to peer down over the duvet at me as I woke....

I'm catsitting a little ginger tom kitten, until the weekend, while my friend moves house. He's such a cute little guy, and spent hours this evening stalking and catching a scrunched up bit of parcel tape. My dog was watching him in absolute bewilderment.
