Three things:

1 - The fact it's my birthday on Monday (although I'm working).
2 - I'm only working three days next week (I'm off on Thursday and Friday).
3 - It's less than a month until I'm on holiday.

There's nothing quite as satisfying as the last page of a good book, is there.????

That's a bit of a double edged sword for me, because if I'm really enjoying the book, then I really don't want it to end, even though I can't stop reading it until I do, weird that one, but satisfying at the same time.

Ooo yes! Except, for me- toast and marmalade
And I'd add being in bed while it's pouring down outside

Much smiling in a traffic jam opposite a park as we watched some poor bloke being chased by an irate swan.

Small schoolkids wearing their hi-viz vests being trailed through the town holding hands in a somewhat ad hoc formation .

Just for a very small moment I can see why parents are quite fond of the noisy, smelly little buggers.

I'm odd.... I find there's something pleasingly nostalgic in seeing kids having a tantrum.....
