EE The Elephant is quite definitely back in the room
In the last scene tonight Cindy brought up what Ian and Jane have been dreading, the fact Bobby killed Lucy, what will they do now?

The elephant is not just in the room, it's knocked over the table and shat in the middle of the floor

I like the way the story is not finished and picks up and drops off every now and then, the way they have done it with this story is a lot less obvious block storytelling than some of the others they have had running recently.
Its true to life though isnt it, you dont get police updates every day and sometimes nothing happens for ages then its all go again. its a bit like the carla lawrence case, the missng presumed dead woman from York. |

Great post..totally agree! Also, was it just me who got chills when Bobby said "she better not cause trouble" and then gave Cindy a look when he was going up to his room?

Plus he's wearing the same pajamas and playing a video game again.
Those are to Bobby what McKlunkeys chicken nuggets were to Morgan Butcher. |

That scene was brilliant! Completely unexpected! I like ruthless Cindy. I'm pissed off about the whole adoption storyline, I really hope she ends up keeping Beth, but this twist is good.
![]() Ian and Jane could easily say that she'll land herself in it for perverting the course of justice, but this is EE and people don't think rationally so I'll be genuinely surprised if they do bring that up. |
