I wonder what the Feminist movement would have made of this. The progress of civilisation of man from a club wielding ape dragging women off to a cave all the way through to well it seems degrading women, getting them drunk and luring them into bed.

No wonder men are so confused what women want these days. Sod opening doors and campaigning for equal pay for women Tin Foil knobs and smelly drunks is what they want.

Of course this is in jest but really what does did she see in Marc to want to hop in bed with him ?

Tell me about it. The soundtrack to my life and i'm sure many other guys.

A world where nice shy guys are punished and excluded and arrogant jerks get everything.

The boy's got charm. She wants to work him out.

I'm so disappointed in Sam for hoping into bed with him.
Marq actually comes out of it the better one for not letting anything happen

I'm disappointed in Sam cos she's the one I like most in there but feel she's let herself down and given those that don't like her a reason to vote her out when she's up for eviction

I think she does too.
It's the little looks and genuine smiles and laughter that give her away, even when she's annoyed with him

I think she's more for being under his protection now that he's vanquished the whole house. He also gives her some relevance because I can't find anything about her. Nothing to like nor dislike, she's meh.

There's plenty about her that I like

They (Sam and Chloe) probably think they can "change" him... *rolleye emoticon*

I'm a feminist and don't understand how this is a feminist issue?

When she chucked the glass at Marc and then whined that she thought that it was empty it was so apt to the empty vessel I find her.

The treat them mean routine seems to work for some reason.

At the end of the day Marc exudes confidence. Girls will feel drawn to that. If he pays attention to them it will make them feel special because they'll think'Wow, he could have any girl he wanted and he picked me'.

Girls are drawn to men who are douches, I don't get it.

Remember what Marc said? "I'll look like a hero and you'll look like the slut" it's already happening - keep in mind that it takes two to tango.

I think he's an absolute knob - and an ugly one at that - but he's witty and quick and funny. Women really actually do want a functioning brain. He's a gobshoite - but he's got a functioning brain.

At least she came to her senses and hopped out of his bed in the end.

Yes, but he has a muscular body. A lot of people choose the body over the face.

If Mark hadn't shown restraint, they totally would have...

Would agree with that. He's certainly not my type but it's the sort of situation where the likes of Joel and Nick sit and feel sorry for themselves about women picking a " handsome arsehole" over a "nice shy guy" who think they would treat girls right when there's plenty of other reasons other than looks.

The feminist movement is about as far removed from Big Brother as it's possible to be, especially when you look at some of the vitriol/comments (and not from blokes as far as one can tell) towards the women on the show. This doesn't seem to be a new thing either.
When you read some of the comments about the females of BB I don't see how anyone could dispute that fact- .genuine feminists would, and should be, aghast.

I'm all for equality and equal rights but this show and it's spin off shows, forums etc are the antithesis of feminism.
