I'm trying to understand what him and Eileen were on about during that conversation. I'm lost

He appeared to confirm her insinuation that he hasn't had a good f*cking for 16 years (her words not mine).

I hope his boyfriend wasn't watching.

Loool but does that mean he's choosing to be celibate or he's partner isn't very good

I think she was reaching. Trying to come across as having uncanny intuition. Simon went along with it to flatter her.

I think it was misinterpreted somewhat, as in having dated someone for 16 years he wouldn't mind a good sesh with someone like Marc. Ie a good night. But as she highlighted it wouldn't be worth it (to risk his relationship going after a desire for a one nighter). You'd risk your long term relationship and stability/love, she right afterwards you'd think we'll that wasn't worth it.

She did that a lot in tonight's episode.

That's how I read it too. The boredom factor of being in a l-t relationship. Not very nice for a partner watching though no matter how enigmatic they were trying to be.

Exactly - but I don't see any altruism (yet) in Simon's behaviour .

It seems only about him and the attention HE can get - so no surprise about the 16 yr drought
