I imagine so many guys that audition for this and yet the viewers end up with a bunch of boring wannabes who think that getting their kit off, swearing and talking sex is entertaining!

Maybe it would be an idea if the viewers got to see all the audition tapes and got a bit of background on potential house-mates and we voted who we wanted to go into the house?

Just an idea.

do you think X-factor (where you vote for your hero) works purely like that? or do you think the whole thing is planned so certain acts come up against certain acts with expected results and controversy...

tv is not about creating something ultimately nice and dull... if you want that, get a bus and watch the people sitting on it.

tv is about "shock" "controversy" "conflict"

I've never even watched the XFactor but I do take the bus and it's often a lot more entertaining than BB, well here in London it is!

So then what's your problem? Why don't you just take the bus more often then?

Problem solved.

People voted in Becky BB13 and then disliked her, people voted Pauline favourite on launch night of BB15 and then booed her exit.

Yes you would get fewer 'models' as these votes tend to favour the bigger boned contestants who ham up their audition tapes. Although Jack got an early timebomb vote initally he did get public's favourite early on but now some of the tide is turning.
Josie Gibsons popularity lasted despite her being in bed alot of the series, I can't recall if she swore or talked about sex a lot.

I'm not sure I could cope with a house full of people moaning about food and laying around in dressing gowns. I believe for some people Big Brother is escapism and want the more modelesque housemates who do get booed going in. Look at popular Youtube 'celebrities' alot are good looking young people. Other Big Brothers around the world cast very good looking people and have some success.

I'm trying to think about how the launch audience take to people who are slightly different, oddball or upper class.

No because we would end up with a house full of Jack Wolfie Pauline Carole all of whom were very popular on launch night.
