The Man in a High Castle
Has anyone else watched the pilot for this series on Amazon? I finally watched it last night and enjoyed it; it has a bit of a 'The Americans' feel to it due to being set in the past, although an alternate one.

It's an awesome pilot but it's also been a long long wait for another episode
![]() Had a regular TV channel picked this up I feel sure they would have had a hit on their hands

Well it is produced by Amazon so I doubt we'd ever see a terrestrial release. It did score very highly as far as I know for Amazon and that's why a series was picked up. I think the filming has been happening this year so hopefully in the Autumn or the start of next year for the full series!

From the minute it was on the site, it was the most buzzed and talked about pilot. Amazon eventually revealed it was the most watched pilot out of all the ones they have made ever. They have been filming since April. My guess is maybe an autumn or winter premiere.

I watched it when it first came out and thought it was good and had potential. Now waiting for more news.

PKD adaptations are a bit hit and miss.

It's an Amazon Original like Bosch and Transparent etc. (equivalent to Netflix's OITNB, Daredevil, House of Cards, etc.) rather than just something that Amazon has bought in such as Vikings or Extant. |

I suppose it will eventually when Amazon no longer feels exclusivity of the series is much of a unique pull and someone else is offering decent bucks to show it.
