BB got 4 out 4in wrong
But

They should of evicted one but still put 4 in, I think the battle between the HMs that left and the newbies would have been better than what we have got, after all 3 of the newbies do nothing.

I agree .. Harriet was in no means my favourite housemate .... but would of been great TV to see her reaction to Marcs antics, Simons showbiz and Harrys walking around naked.

Along with Sarah her reaction to the above and Sam having a crush on Danny.

The twins wouldnt have took to Harry at all.

The only one who may of sat on the fence was Keiran.

I think you're right.
It was the 4 going out of 6 up that annoyed people. Well annoyed me anyway.
It meant that favourites went, with very little chance of saving them. Just so BB could say they've done something novel.

I think they got it right. Couldn't stand Harriet and Sarah and glad they're both gone. Twins I didn't care about. Kieran was nice, but no loss.

I think they should of evicted 2-4 of the NOMINATED HM, not the others.

Tell me what Harry, Sam, and Simon bring that makes them better than those who left?

Pretty much how I see it.

The OP makes a good point.

The intention was to destabilise and create drama, and it worked. But who's to say the Twins, Harriet and Sarah wouldn't be at war with Marc and Simon by now, which would itself be good drama.

Then again, the Twins were the most feisty, so would probably have been evicted.

The best result would have been for father-of-the-house, Kieran to go, as he was smoothing over too many cracks, and allow Harriet, Sarah and the Twins to stay and argue with the newbies.

Allowing Sarah to stay would also have fortified Danny to fight for his place in the house more strongly, as now he has nothing and noone to care about, and just sits about being useless.

^this

The biggest problem, for me, with 4 out, 4 in was the way it subverted the whole premise of the show and rewarded the ones who had upset their fellow housemates and punished the ones who were liked.

I could have lived with my favourites going if they'd been fairly nominated but what was really hard to stomach was the fact that they should never have been up in the first place!

The intention was to get rid of the quiet, under the radar, housemates but it ended up ejecting some of the major characters.

Maybe 4 from the originally nominated would have been better, we will never know

Harriet is the only one that I think they missed an opportunity with. The others were dull and I'm not missing them at all.

I do think the idea behind this was as follows

Jade had to be saved as Marc was coming in as they had history so they swapped them over, if she had not been up for eviction they may left as it is.

Marcs brief was dominate the house removing bolshy type females would make this much easier as well, especially with a lot of weak easpecially male characters being safe they knew he would pretty much get a free reign to do this

The 4 evicted should have been to go into a secret room. then imagine how good it'd be if Sarah and the twins came in now to confront Marc.

I hope to never have to hear Harriet's voice again, so no that wouldn't have been good.

They bring with them personalities that I prefer. I thought Sarah was an absolute idiot, Harriet just screamed and shouted constantly. Kieran and twins I wasn't bothered about either way. None of the four in my opinion brought anything to the house. I don't think the new four are incredible housemates, but I prefer them a damn sight more than the four who were evicted.

Yeah this is a good reading of the situation. But I still wonder why the producers think the public wanted The Marc Show, because that's what we've got till the end of the series.

Exactly! Stir it up - getting rid of the deadwood - and what do they do, put 3 of them in who have done nothing of note. Showbiz who has become showbore, Sam who denies all blame for anything, and Harry who has the most unlikely pairing with Nick.

If they really wanted to 'stir it up', why on earth get rid of Harriet. If they could twist the nominations to save Jade, who has done nothing since the 4 new arrivals, why could they not save someone to counteract Marc? Silly decisions in the proiduction department AGAIN.

So you believe the evicted the stronger housemates to allow Marc to do as he pleased.

So just your personal preference although they bring nothing more than the others

Of course it's my personal preference. I think they do bring more than the others and I prefer their personalities. It's my preference. Just like you would have preferred if they had evicted one but still put four in.
