I could understand that they had to catch up with Live week, but that was in February, I know that alot of things are leading up to it, but surely it has to be soon. I also do not want it to be a stupid cameo again, I want it to be a full character re-introduction, with all the fallout and reactions. I can see certain things are being put into place quietly and puzzle pieces are being lined up, but it's just irritating me that they have a story, whether or not it is believable is another thing, I believe the Firm will be involved, the Hubbards, Sullivans, Mitchells and Watt's all involved, maybe not directly, but in a network organisation kinda way. I just hope its soon in the next month or so. PLEASE!
How much longer are we going to have to wait for the Kathy story to come to a head?
We've been promised more appearances from Kathy ahead of her full-time return. I doubt we'll get anything major until September at the earliest. There's usually a big storyline around September/October time to kick off the autumn and build-up to Christmas/New Year.
Viewing figures are lower in the summer so it's unlikely we'll get her full-time return before then.

End of summer I thought they said, so sept? build to xmas reveal? seems weird if its not the xmas story now since we have already waited ages
We will get cameos from Gillian me thinks but she will enter autumn leading to her backstory of why she pretended to be dead as the main Xmas SL this year

Because it was lept so secret they couldn't start storylining it until after live week. As they generally storyline 6 to 12 months (sometimes longer) in advance there was always going to be a delay. They have to storyline not just her return but how it fits in with other storylines, then commission the scripts which will take a few weeks to write, then the actors have to be given them, and it is filmed approx 2 months in advance. Add it all together there is no practical way they could get a full return on air in less than about 6 months which takes us to late Summer.
Personally i still think it will actually happen in the Autumn.

Exactly. Given it was going to have to wait until the summer anyway (as it wasn't written prior to March) they'd be daft not to wait that extra few weeks to use it as the big Autumn leading into Xmas storyline.
I hope we get a flashback episode featuring Kathy and Gavin showing what really happened in February 2006. The Lucy flashback was brilliant. I understand they wont have the budget to film in South Africa but they could get around that - similar to the scenes we had last year of Peggy and Ronnie supposedly in Spain but actually filmed at Barbara Windsor's house in London.
