Unless I watched a different show, Simon is the one who kept (incorrectly) pointing out her age, insinuating that someone of 20 is irrelevant.

Compared to 46, 25 is young. And when you have someone like Simon, who would seem to be one of those "respect your elders" types, I can see why she would feel intimidated.

And of course Chloe was falling over herself to correct him on her age, and she behaved like the complete adult in crying and saying that she is a "young girl"...and getting the gang around her to take turns in shouting at Simon.

Chloe is a silly coward who did play the "young girl" card.

BIB, quite honestly no I don't.

The only intimidation was coming from her, she was the one shouting, she had all her mates around her to stick up for her, she had the tears....as you say, Intimidation can come from all sorts of sources.

She didn't force everyone to gather round and defend her. They did that of their own free will.

Simon played the age card. And I think for him to throw that in to the equation, rather than maturely discussing things, is rather cowardly. Chloe asked him why he didn't like her, and he wouldn't answer her.

At least Chloe's tears were real.

Just because I see differences between genders and age groups doesn't mean they are crude stereotypes. Why would someone need a sex change if men and women were identical. I tailor my behaviour towards the individual I am talking with.

I am tall and if a short person (usually an old lady) wants me to get something from a top shelf in a supermarket I am happy to help. Are you suggesting i tell them to eff off because we are all equal. ”

I would be concerned about me too, however I can see the difference I just don't think that has any relevance to how people interact and treat each other

You use an example of reaching for something for an old lady. I assume you would reach for something for anyone that wasn't as able as you and that is what I am getting at, age and gender has no relevance

She started needlessly crying, of course she knew the others would come to her aid.

He never started that argument, he was having a private chat with Danny, but she had to stick her beak in and things spiralled out of control from there.

But why didn't she tell the others to stop shouting at him, that it was between him and her?

She started crying because Simon flat out said he didn't like her, yet couldn't explain why. I can understand why she'd be upset like that.

A "private" conversation, bitching about someone behind their back, for everyone to hear in the bedroom if they walked in. She didn't stick her beak in, she simply asked her who they were talking about as she obviously knew it was her. If you don't want said person to hear, then go somewhere a bit more private than the bedroom.

Even if she did, they wouldn't listen. No-one listened when Cristian said multiple times to leave it between her and Simon.

I don't like Simon but all this nonsense about him being 2 faced & talking behind people's backs...they are all doing that to each other.”

Totally agree. Jack, Joel and Chloe seem to think it's perfectly fine for them to sit and conflab, but woe betide anybody else who is doing so.

Sam is getting it in the neck for being 'greedy', Jade was more or less ostracised, ( Joel 'hated' her ) Cristian had a tough 2 weeks of it with practically all of them jumping on the same band wagon.

But Simon isn't allowed to dislike Chloe!! Joel actually quizzing him why, jeez, he doesn't like her. SO BLOODY WHAT.
