Theres a huge rumour going around that the actress playing Lola has been axed. If that's the case I know lots of people arnt happy but can someone confirm it please.

Is it not just speculation? I haven't heard anything about Danielle Harold being axed, only speculation on a thread about which character could be getting axed. Lola is in the spoilers soon, so she may not be getting axed.

Couldn't that mean anything though? She may have just wanted to change agent? Her previous agent may have retired? I do not know, but until there is confirmation of her axing, I won't believe it.

Unless she tweets something that makes it seem obvious like James Forde (Liam) did a few days before his departure was confirmed, I think we can take this with a pinch of salt for now.

No worries -I think it would be a big mistake if dtc axes her. I hope the rumours amount to nothing.

If Lola gets axed, they might as well axe Billy

He has used her as a glorified extra for ages. Her last storyline was Peter dumping her. Whitney seems to be getting some direction now, hopefully the same will happen with Lola.

As much as I like Lola I can't say that I'd be too bothered if it was true, I'd be disappointed but she's hardly been used for 2 years, has she?

Danielle changing her agent doesn't have to mean she is leaving (I know Hilda didn't say that). She could've quit the show/been axed and stayed with her old one. Actors leave jobs all the time but have the same agent for years. This could have come about for any number of reasons. We don't know when she left her former agency - it might have been a while ago, with her only just signing with a new one now.

Some people on twitter says she following tv producers and casting directors not sure it means anything, but some are going overdrive thinking she leaving.
