I just think he brings it on himself.....crocodile tears ("look, I really am crying"), and trying to make everything about him. No matter how much support he gets, he's constantly saying "I'm having a really hard time and I need more support from you", as if he's the only one struggling. A complete attention seeking twit in my opinion.

Not much interest in Simon myself but that was uncomfortable viewing tonight, all that ganging up on him. OUT OF ORDER!

How can it be bullying when he orchestrated the "talk" and first buoyed his position by getting the two "alpha" males in his corner.

Seemed a bit more of bullying when he and his "boys" got Chloe off by herself and forced her to "forgive" him.

Just who was "ganging up" on whom?

Now I don't much like Simon - I don't think many of us do; but that is just a misrepresentation of the facts.

Their issues with him (Chloe, Joel, Jack, Harry) relate to two incidents. The first was the nomination of Eileen; the second his comments about Chloe.

Both of these incidents were set-ups. The reasons he gave for nominating Eileen were very similar to everything said by most of the original hms in the first two weeks.

The second was a direct question set by the pledges which he answered honestly and with no malice. He said she was coasting and not doing enough to earn her place in the final. How many of us on here have said and/or thought the same, eh?

So this witch-hunt is absolutely and utterly out of order.

Simon's a horror - but they are attacking him completely unjustifiably.

The episode yesterday reminded me of the Craig vs Nick in BB1. I don't see it as bullying.

I don't see any bullying, which is constant mental and physical attacks. What has been happening is several reacting to the things Simon says to themselves or others. Simon appears to me to actually be courting it to ride the sympathy card. I can see no other reason for his attacks followed by fake crying sessions.

Absolutely!! Jack, Joel, Jade and Sam asked the question, he only answered, if they cant face the truth of the answer Don't ask the question!! jack and Joel were all so quick to want to spill the beans knowing the trouble they would cause. BTW they HMs have air-brushed their own nominations of Aileen from the beginning!

Well now that Simon is the oldest in the house ...he should be up and out ...just like he did to Eileen .

Some very interesting opinions on here lately.. Simons treatment by the housemates isnt bullying because he deserves it? Last series the biggest Hate figure in the house Helen woods had viewers saying no matter what she has done she doesn't deserve to be isolated by Ashleigh, infact the whole reason she won was somehow everything she had done in the house was forgiven, now with Simon here's where i don't seem to get the issue, he nominated Elieen, before he entered so did they, Simon mentioned her age, before he entered so did they, Chloe,Jack, Joel, Harry all took turns laying in to Simon but that's just them 'telling it like it is', so why is Simon not allowed the same right?

To a point i don't blame Chloe because i feel Jack and Joel decided to re write history with what Simon had actually said about Chloe, both him and Marc made possitive and negative comments but seemingly only Simon is held accountable for it all..

Sidenote this whole time warp thing is set up for Simon, they turned him in to this weeks panto villian so he can get this secret twist for the second time on this show..

Simon the victim, I have met his sort before, both male and female. Behave as obnoxiously as they like, backbite, spiteful remarks, and then turn it around when they are confronted. Poor me, poor me........how many times does this man have to have forgiveness from the HMs. So fed up with his antics, I know exactly how he is going to behave. Ugh.

I'm not, I just didn't think it was right that they were all get involved and shouting at him at the same time.. All he did was say he didn't like Chloe, she said much worse about him. Joel went to get involved without even knowing what had happened? I'm sorry but who does he think he is going up to him, demanding to be told what happened so he could "have a go" as he said before, when it had nothing to do with him in the first place

The bit in bold is SO important.

I just said elsewhere that I think Joel and Jack are among my least favourite housemates of all time. Neither of them has any warmth or wit about them (contrary to these elusive one liners that Joel apparently keeps giving and I keep missing). They are both extraordinarily brattish, sour and hot-headed.

In the case of both Jade and Simon, when a housemate was isolated they were genuinely salivating like hyenas at the opportunity to have a go; but only when they've a crowd around them. They've the combined charisma of a seed potato and the depth of a lynx hair.

I agree that he doesn't help it. but was there really any need for everyone to get involved? Like Jack for example going "**** off simon" when Simon hadn't even said a word to him? I just think there was better ways to get about in the situation

EVER year the word bullying is thrown around on this forum. It sinks. The ONLY people to bully someone in that house was Jade Goody and Helen Wood.

His reason for asking for forgiveness in my opinion is out of respect for himself and the rest of the house instead of a situation where it's all originals plus Harry vs him, he can't defend himself aswell as Marc could so he gave in, which is sad to see because they are judging Simon for the very same actions they are guilty of doing to him.. Behaving obnoxiously? i'd give that to Jack, Joel and Harry before i give that title to Simon, backbiting spiteful remarks? I'd give that to Jade, Chloe, Jack, Joel and Harry..

Difference between Simon and the other housemates? They have each other to bitch about him Simon has no one so he keeps his opinion to himself until he's in the diary room then he's called out for what he says in the diary room.. Everyone seems to have forgotten how the Jack was nice to Jades face and called spent his time bitching about her to the others, as did the other housemates.. Yet somehow everyone is under the illusion that Simon is the only obnoxious housemate that deserves to be constantly attacked for every opinion and view he has while the others go unchallenged..

You forgot Jade. 100% agree with you they all seem to be setting double standards just so they can turn on Simon. I mean I get he's annoying with his constant "talks", but there's really no need for all the ganging up on him. Very dissapointed in Jade, she should have more empathy, having been in his situation not so long ago. Yet she has no problem joining the gang, to do the same thing to someone else

Assh#le or not when it's relentless and by all, anyone would feel intimidated and ostracized.

If you look up the word bullying, it's defined as: use superior strength or influence to intimidate (someone)
Unless we were watching a different show this is what has happened twice now, on last night's show and tonight's in regards of Simon

It's quite extraordinary, isn't it? Marc's the one who's come in and been an absolute gobshoite to and and about them; but they've turned on Simon because of nominations he had no choice but to make and answers he had no choice but to give. He hasn't been nasty about any of them; Marc's been routinely nasty.

I don't warm to Simon at all; but the reactions to him have exposed - particularly - the vacuousness and insipidness and desperation of Chloe, Jack and Joel.
