The Emilia Clark nudity clause rumour was sparked by an old Oona Chaplin interview in which she said an unnamed GoT actress had refused to get naked any more because she wanted to be taken seriously as actress. For some reason- maybe because Emilia hadn't actually been nude on the show since about season 3- the newspapers assumed she was the person being alluded to and just perpetuated the story probably because she is the most high profile actress on the show and it provided the best copy. It didn't help that around the same time Emilia apparently made some off the record comments to a reporter about her dislike of 'gratuitous nudity' at a party that she never expected to be published.
Of course, it never did make any real sense considering Clarke by then already had an established reputation as a actress and had also been happy to subsequently go nude on Broadway. The actual actress Chapman was likely referring to was either former porn star Sibel Kekilli or (my guess) Esmé Bianco. Both had been nude on the show in the early days but later remained conspicuously covered up as the seasons progressed. Both were eventually written out the show.
