That's true of a lot of celebrities. Constant exposure combined with television make-up etc makes them seem better looking than they actually are. Familiarity breeds lust.
With regards to Alex Jones, she's not incredibly gorgeous, but she's far from unattractive. And, as a lot of people have said, she's got a fantastic body. I will make allowances over the face if the body is particularly impressive (but that's just the generous natured kind of guy I am).
