No, but br`s strategy was to have one isolated striker be it inghs or bentecke and to lump the ball up to him, hoping for the best

Why on gods green earth is Klopp going for the same idea?
lump the ball forward!!

what game was you watching. we didnt play like that at all.

Pretty happy with that. With a depleted squad we done well to get a point.

Clyne MOTM for me. Thought he played very well indeed, did well defensively and provided an attack often too.

Great draw that with what Klopp has at the moment, and roll on for some transfers.

Didn't expect a 0-0 draw. I think the Tottenham supporters will be more relieved than us after the thrashings we've given them on our last 2 visits to their place, at least Klopp hasn't lost his first game though.

are you really 72 yrs old?
I'd imagine a lot of 72 year olds would be delighted with a clean sheet...

Er, decent point given the lack of firepower. Origi is too timid, though.

Well considering we were on our 4th choice striker, we have to take the point and run. We did ok and played quite well in spells; obviously our final play in the final third needs to improve, but that will be judged when we are back with a more authentic PL striker. ( be interesting to see who he prefers between Sturridge and Benteke if he's going to stick with 4231 )

Can, Lucas, Clyne and Lallana all had decent games, but Mingolet saved us a point and he'd be my MOTM today.

Very pleased with that result, considering what we were left to play with. They did well, very well, and in my book played better than Spurs on the day. Good to see Klopp right into it and applauding every effort made, he is gonna do very well for us.

I was lucky to be watching on NBC and not have to put up with the dross on BT (after a major, major bustup with the &^&^*'s), so even had a very good commentary - fair, unbiased and knowledgeable.

A good start today, and I fancy Moreno to be permanent now.

We all seem to be picking different players as the eye-catchers today, so that must be a sign of a good all round team performance.

My MOM goes to Mig - if we'd conceded, not sure we'd have rescued the game - made at least 3 key saves. Sakho and Clyne good too.

There were a few players that stood out for me today, I couldn't pick one, Which is only good for us as one good performance is not enough, A team performance is what we want.

If David Moores really said twice "I’m shaken hands on a deal", He is more of a moron than I took him for.

Doesn't sound too bad. Seems like klopp didn't want to take any risk at all.

what a horrible boring game
and why is Origi playing he is terrible
PS interesting statistic. in their last 24 games in all competitions, in just 3 of them have they scored more than 1 goal.
Which means in 21 of their last 24 games, they either scored a maximum of once, or not at all!
The lack of goals is very disturbing!

so we've discovered you're not a Liverpool fan, you would have said 'we' or we're' if you were.

Who do you support?

I didn't watch the match today, but overall it sounds positive. To go to White Hart Lane with Henderson, Ings, Benteke, Firmino, Sturridge, Gomez, Lovren, Rossiter and Flanagan all injured and get a draw, it's a decent result. A clean sheet is even better and it sounds like we were all over them for a brief period too, which is encouraging.

Hopefully we can take the good from this game now, and really kick on against Southampton, with a win!

Was out during the game - on the line at a match which kicked off at 2 - so recorded it all and altho I knew the result I have since watched it all.

Overall very happy - easy to see a change of style even after just 1 match under Klopp and potentially it will be as exciting as he promises and we hope successful too. Liked his honesty after the game - lots was good but we need to be better at decision making in the last third = fair comment. Glad we did not lose as that would have given the knockers ammunition - a draw was a fair result and we had many who played well, in fact I'd say we had no real weak links. Under JK it is all about team. I think Origi is getting unfair stick - I thought he did OK considering it being his first game and being up front by himself away at a good team altho yes the other 3 strikers we have are probably better than him at present but he has shown me today he could be a good option. The best players today? - hard to say - Lucas, Sakho, Mig, Clyne, Lallana are probably my picks but others may pick out others. Doesn't really matter.

Onwards and upwards - looking forward to my trip to Anfield next Thursday - it will be a special atmosphere.
