You're right.
By the way T20 next summer, they have cheerleaders and music too just to keep the crowd's attention if they aren't up to following the play ![]() I don't know if someone's attempting to be a wum, but I'm out now. Suffice to say I found this last week to be invigorating and am now looking forward to seeing how the team and the squad develop.

Having read their posts on this is anfield (I presume the ones she was banned for were deleted) the demanour and posting style is very different, Elsewhere like the dailymail site etc the obvious trolling is more obvious, Block button advised.

Back to normality after our latest rogue poster blew themselves up with an incendiary post strapped to their waist...
Klopp's fingerprints on the side are already evident and we are defending and attacking as a unit. Not a million miles away from what we used to do before lethargy set in under BR but I suspect Jurgen's charisma and CV will sustain it better. Losing our top three strikers was a cruel blow to realistic hopes of a win at Spurs, not forgetting their decent form this season too. It looked as though Klopp's call for braver defending had an effect as we did seem to throw ourselves around a bit more - whether in the tackle or in front of shots. Henderson would suit Klopp down to the ground - he certainly has the energy to maintain that pressing for most of a game. Milner and Can too. If we can knit some more creativity in and get either Benteke or Sturridge playing regularly then we'll soon turn those mistakes we'll harass from teams into goals. Probably look to get ahead early in games and ease up into a counter attacking style as games reach the last third. Wouldn't surprise me it Sturridge and Benteke rotated frequently and replaced each other off the bench as they'll be asked to work very hard. Not sure the system will accommodate playing both unless we lose width but we'll see - may get more adventurous at Anfield. A fascinating set of fixtures ahead, culminating in an intriguing trip to Chelsea on Halloween - if we execute the high press there correctly, we could have a real chance given their fragility at present. Another fascinating aspect is who Klopp sees as surplus to requirements and who he'll look to recruit. Sturridge's glass composition might see us cash in on him, Ibe needs to progress and Origi certainly needs to impose himself a lot more. Firminho I just don't know yet - haven't seen enough of him to make a judgement. |

I am not trying to be funny but Klopp`s obsession with Origi frightens me. l![/b] Hello Brendan, it didn't take you long between jobs to start posting on here ![]() Kudos for the line quoted, the funniest thing posted in this thread for a long time. A bit like the Daily Mash satire a day after Klopp's appointment, which had us LFC fans complaining about JK going into a second 24 hours without a trophy!! |

Good came considering the injuries.
I like the style of play but the side affects of this is injuries and we can't afford any more at the moment. The future looks bright however. I expect a gradual build up while player get fitter better and new ones come in. |

Firminho I just don't know yet - haven't seen enough of him to make a judgement. I caught a bit of that numpty Mike Parry on talksport in the car yesterday talking about Klopp. Saying the club should put their foot down and that he'd made his appointment more about himself than LFC and the club of our size. No Mike, that's the moronic way it's been reported in this country. He then had a debate about how less invasive our press is to football managers than other countries. Again a stupid point when all they could do last week was publish photos of Klopp out and about. |

. Anyway moving on - the line up on Saturday was not that weak really apart from the striker department - the strongest defence and then Can, Lucas, Lallana, Coutinho and Milner. The bench did look a bit weak but we did not have to call on them till the last 10 minutes. Of those not playing I think Hendo would prob get in the team and maybe Firmino but after that I am not sure - and even then it is not obvious (or at least not to me) who would be left out. I do think we have the core of a decent squad in place - which no doubt JK will want to add to so it's all looking far better than it was. I smile at those who speculate on who will flourish under JK and who is not his type and will be ditched. The answer is nobody as yet knows and I suspect Jurgen does not know himself either. The truth is that he is watching them all carefully in training and in matches and then decisions will be made. Everyone will be given a chance - and that is how it should be. |

The fact that our U21's match with Sunderland (we lost btw) was basically U 16's as Klopp wanted everyone training at Melwood, is a sign he's taking a good look at our youngsters for new blood. It was stated as such during the commentary yesterday on LFCTV.
He has also banned WAG's etc from the training ground, has increased training time, and stopped automatic back-to-back days off - they will have to be earned in future. I think Klopp will rule with an Iron Fist and a Huge Smile - looking forward to the difference he makes - and which players will stay the course! |

Seems we can recall Markovic in January. I hope we do, would like to see what he can do under Klopp.
Also Aidy Ward's been talking about Sterling moving because of Brendan and that he'd have liked to have played under Klopp. Yeah I bet you would Raheem, would've been great under him but too late now. I did think about Sterling when Klopp came in. He could've developed into some player under him. With a better agent he might well be playing under him now. |

As for Aidy Ward, I read that yesterday, he's obviously been waiting for the right moment (for him) to spout this. Rodgers gone, and Sterling scoring a hat-trick for City. He has actually made Sterling out to have lied about Rodgers too, so he's done him no favours. He's right on one thing though, Sterling would have become something very, very special with Klopp guiding him. Whatever, he's not our concern now, I'm more interested to see team selection for tomorrow. |

Paul Joyce has tweeted Markovic loan is for the season.
Makes sense as Fernabache taking a player who could be recalled makes no sense to them. |

Just watched Klopp on SSN @ 4pm - you really have to hand it to him, he really does not suffer fools and stupid questions.
He had Lucas sat next to him, and after the 'media' had done with Klopp they turned to Lucas asking him how he got on with his new manager. Really unimpressed, Klopp butted in and stopped Lucas from answering, on the grounds it was a daft question to ask in his company, and too soon anyway - "I've only been here 11 days, ask again after 4 weeks". He is definitely going to be a superb manager for us, the more I see and hear, the better I love the man, just dying to see Anfield tomorrow night (with whatever dodgy link I can get it on!)

Liverpool appoint Rogers as manager Quote:
Scott Rogers: Liverpool Ladies promote assistant to replace Matt Beard http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/footbal...linkname=sportLiverpool Ladies have promoted Scott Rogers from assistant boss to manager to replace recently departed Matt Beard. The 29-year-old worked under Beard for three years and helped the Reds win consecutive Women's Super League titles in 2013 and 2014. Beard is taking over as Boston Breakers manager in the United States. "I am absolutely delighted to have been given the opportunity to manage Liverpool Ladies," said Rogers. "Having worked under the stewardship of Matt for the past three seasons, I know what a great club this is and cannot wait to get started." Rogers was manager at Blackburn Rovers Ladies before he moved to Liverpool. A bit of trolling from the MOTD Facebook page.
