Sturridge off the playlist and in for a scan on his knee, not what we want to hear, but straight from Klopps mouth.

![]() I don't want people twisting your words Orch and claiming it's another long term layoff when it isn't. Sturridge cops enough flack as it is without people jumping on his back because he's been out for a week. |

Just to be clear, Klopp said that we're taking it day by day, and if he trains tomorrow, he MIGHT be an option on the bench for Southampton.

This guy gets paid more in a week than any of us make in years, and 99 per cent of the time `injures his toe` and is out for a season. Once bitten twice shy

Not being funny, but do you really think if he was just out for a week people would jump on his back?
Now if the news ever breaks that he's out for longer than a month, I'll join everyone else with the disconsolate weeping. But nothing's been said to suggest that is the case, so I'd suggest not jumping the gun. |

As an aside though, given the stick some Liverpool posters have got for mentioning The Sun here, Im surprised there is this much dialogue taking place with someone who suggested that Liverpool should "get over" Hillsborough.
I admit I was guilty of replying to them on the other thread started by them about our goal scoring record (why did it need its own thread?) altho I did start my reply by chastising them on their Hillsborough views but maybe it would have been better not to even dialogue with them as you suggest. |

I suppose if you spout enough shit, eventually some of it will stick...
you are accusing people who are disapointed with the overall LFC situation as trolls, and start to indirectly talk about ignoring them, and wishing for their ban. Dont deny it, youve done it and several others have done it. Now.. lets look at it beyond rose tinted spectacles at the real scenario. The person mentioning their lack of suprise at Sturridge being out again, is not trolling, nor sprouting shite or whatever you called it. They have a VERY GOOD POINT. Sturridge has been out about 5 times now in just 2 seasons, one of those times being for 90 per cent of last season. And even several seasons back he was injury prone which is the reason he was let go by Chelsea - this is nothing new! He also missed the first month of this season, came back for a few games and got INJURED AGAIN. As a LFC fan and a realist i have EVERY right to be angry and dissapointed at the situation. The problem is rose tinted spectacle people like you, who ridicule anyone who is dissapointed at the constant injuries in LFC, or massive lack of goals.. calling us trolls or wishing for our ban. The problem is YOU. Not US! ![]() Any other neutral supporter can see there is a problem going on with LFC. If you ask 99 per cent of football fans in the world about Sturridge they will say he is massively injury prone and not worth having in their team. Does that make 99 per cent of football fans trolls/ people who need banning? NO! Get off your high horse |

Klopp hasn't had the impact which some may have hoped, but it's far too early to judge him yet, the lack of goals is worrying though and if it carries on much longer some may start to think the problem wasn't Rodgers, but the players.
I know some are saying we must give Klopp time, which is true to a certain extent, but I don't want another mediocre season, a CL place is up for grabs and I would hope we'll be challenging for that at the end of the season, and a cup would be nice also, I won't be calling for his head if we fail to acheive either of those though, unless we've been absolutely dire. |

The only expectation I have of Klopp is that he sets the team out in his image, getting them to play his style of football and the results improve. I have no expectations of top 4 or cup runs. That would be extremely unfair. However if we end the season in 6th or below I will be disappointed. This time next year we had better be in a totally different place or questions will need to be asked, again!

I didn't say I was expecting us to achieve what I wrote, only hoping for it. I think the players we have can do better. Other managers have taken over clubs in a much worse situation than ours and totally transformed them, in the same season using the same players, so the fact they're "Rodgers players" shouldn't be used as an excuse. I'm prepared to give Klopp time, but I would like to see an improvement fairly soon.

Prepare to finish mid table he needs much time, Klopp will deliver when he gets his targets. |

So it is agreed the likes of Lallana, Can, Ibe, Moreno etc arent able to provide goals
they should be got rid of Every signing more or less BR brought in isn't working, those you mentioned also apart from maybe Moreno, all out and Firmino too just another over priced flashy footballer. |

It's the strikers I'm worried about for me Ings and Sturridge would have been great and could be the future but look what happened to that.
