Hope Sakho hasn't dammed his knee too much - insisting to come back on might prove to be a foolish move. The crowd calling for him might have made him feel like he had to stay on. Good to see that we are back in form, now let's go and get some more goals!
2-1 would probably do for me but I hope we stuff Palace from here. We owe them a big beating after the last few fixtures and them winning on Gerrard's last home game.Great to see Stevie back watching us for the first time.
Not sure what I make of this match today. I've seen us play a lot worse and win, we played quite well today with some good runs and possession, it just wasn't our day.

Brought back down to earth after a strong start with Klopp. It reminds us that he's inherited a squad lacking in quality despite the vast sums spent. We dominated the possession and the chances but Benteke was wasteful and Lallana his usual average self. Coutinho was our best player in attack but didn't seem able to influence the game as much from that left side.
And why the hell are we so terrible at taking corners?

Really disappointing. Helped put a great pace on the game after the playing and travelling back to Russia.Not at the races defensively though and that is still where our biggest problems lie.

Thats the problem exactly.
Our style under both BR and Klopp is prone to being done by counter-attacking sides with width. Hopefully Henderson and Sturridge back soon to add some verve.
