Move Henderson on and give Lallana a more prominent role...or just do the former...
Get rid of our captain and one of our best players, sure, great idea...

A thrashing from Leicester next week as well
Yeah I bet your Christmas will be made up then.

How on earth do we go from walking all over City, Chelsea and Southampton to hardly kicking a ball against Newcastle and Watford? It's bizarre.

Dreadful. Absolutely dreadful.

I expect moves to be made in January, despite what Klopp says. I expect at least a goalkeeper and a centre half, and perhaps even a playmaker who can make things happen from a deeper position. I'm reluctant to say the squad is shit (because let's be honest, it's better than Watford's squad), but it's certainly not good enough for what we want to achieve with Klopp in charge.

Let's look at who played today. Bogdan - not good enough obviously. Skrtel has been steadily getting worse and it's perhaps time to think about benching him. Sakho is usually immense but was absolutely woeful today, lucky not to concede a goal because of him. Moreno and Clyne are fine, I suppose but we need back up in those positions.

Lucas is usually class in his position but has been poor the last couple of games. And he doesn't exactly have the skill, vision, speed or range of passing to make up for it. Can has the potential to be class but still needs a lot of work. Henderson was the only half decent player out there today, he's fine.

Coutinho, Lallana and Firmino were all non-existant today. I'll forgive Coutinho for obvious reasons, and I'll forgive Firmino because he's still relatively new and we've seen the talent he's got and it'd be a waste of an opportunity to not tap into it. Lallana however has been here a year and a half, has done very little in that time and turns 28 in May. If this is his prime, then I don't see him getting much better, and I think there's better out there we can bring in to replace him.

Really? The players don't want to play for us and the facts is each match we are getting closer to the drop zone and until Klopp ships this terrible players out and makes his own mark this result will stay the same.

Part of the blame goes to the owners they should have sacked Rodgers in the summer not let him bring more trash into the sqaud

Well done Watford, they deserved to win today, they were miles better than us.

As for us. No desire, no passion, no quality... nothing. Worst Liverpool squad ever. Big changes needed in the summer.

Can't believe after the Southampton win, some were saying we should go for the title, not just top four. We are nowhere near good enough to finish in even the top 6/7 at the moment.

This is a really horrible time to be a Liverpool fan but we must keep supporting the team, as difficult as it is.

Agreed, have to give them credit

We were woeful, changes are definitely needed, as this is not a team, its just a bunch of individuals at present.

Who will we get of the required quality in January though?
We'd probably be replacing average with average at that stage of the season. With us floundering in the league and in Europe's secondary competition rather than the CL.

You get inconsistent performances during transitional periods.

Today we had big issues again with a side pressing us. Physically not strong enough.

Klopp will need 3 transfer windows minimum.

The blame goes right back to the signing of you know who and then not sacking him soon enough, and the result is a team full of absolute garbage and it will not change until we make big changes, meaning 80% out.

Oh God no. I'm not sure how much more I can take of 'one speed' Lallana. I don't think he's actually capable of sprinting. Never seems to break out of jogging speed.

We can't keep blaming an ex manager for results and performances today. That's ridiculous.

Rodgers isn't here and has nothing to do with how the side performed today just as his nothing to do with how they played v man city.

There will be a high turnover of players going by the start of next season Klopp knows they are not good enough

Well done to Watford. They've completely outclassed us today.
Outmuscled is the phrase I'd use but there's nothing wrong with that approach. As has been the case for a number of years, we need to sign players with technical quality but also the ability to avoid intimidation.

A team of Gerrard and Carra's mentality would not go amiss right now.

No, he's really not. It's unfortunate that not many outside of the LFC fanbase rate him as highly as they should, and only really notice him when playing for England where he hasn't been great but he's far from a mid table standard player.
