Anyone would think you was happy?
Nope.

Milner on.

We need to check our warm-up routine or make sure the players are carrying it out properly.

1-0 Ibe.

Looks like he'll be out a while, they strapping him up, rediculous this.

Impressive first half
Seeing as it's close to our 2nd choice team/reserves, they are doing OK so far. Stoke are struggling to get into the game, been most worried about Johnson getting one in against us - he;s come close!

Very decent first half from us; should be 2 up really. If expect Stoke to come out and be more physical in the second half. I'm surprised we put Lucas at CB; I'd have thought Can would be the better defender.

Lucas V Crouch... yikes, scary days.

Despite what they are saying on TV he seemed to be looking at Ibe when he struck the ball, so only he knows

Good slick pitch against a side that now likes to play football. That's ideal for this set of players as we know. Phil's injury Max have Aden a blessing as he's going through one of his quieter spells and wasn't Trinity tie spaces he war getting well. Let's hope he comes back revitalised. Defensive injury list a worry though. Kolo's using all his experience but will surely tire. However, there's more goals for us here if we hold our composure - I'd like to see Lallana and/or Firmino get on the scoresheet. Nice to have Milner back too.

No surprise Walters is on - that's not what we like as they'll go more direct now

Mig booked for time wasting.Could we have just one game where our keeper or defence don't do at least one stupid thing

This'll probably be Klopp's best result so far if we close out a win from here.Yes it's the league cup and not PL but the injuries in selection and throughout the game itself gave us a mountain to climb.

Joe Allan off, been one of the best players today imo, he and Lallana have been excellent.

Another pulled hamstring for Toure but he's playing through it.Unbelievable. Might have to select Alan Hansen against Exeter

Very pleasing, hard thought win but FFS, three hamstring injuries on the same night... wtf?
