We were only 5 minutes into the game and I was shocked at the state and shape of Enrique. No wonder he hasn't been allowed anywhere near the team.

Doesn't bear thinking about the amount of goals Arsenal will get against this team

I bet even Utd will look good

You really could do with trying to get in touch with Valdes' agent, as we sure as heck don't want him for whatever reason.

I would normally say he was left red faced but he was born red faced it seems

It says to me we've got a ridiculous injury list and are playing both Arsenal and United next week. The only players I'd question would have been Allen and Milner as they've not featured much of late

How many of tonight's starting 11 actually have a future at Liverpool? I'd say none with only Smith and Kent having a minute chance.

It feels like we don't give a s**t about the FA Cup so we've thrown all these players in to either have one more chance to show that they have something or play themselves into the shop window.

Very sad really, this used to be a great competition. No wonder its losing its significance in football when the 'big' clubs treat it like this....

Maybe it'd be different if we had a winter break and players weren't coming out of playing 7/8 matches in December, managers might be in a position to take the FA Cup more seriously.

Besides the FA Cup, in terms of prestige, has been devalued for years. It's now pretty much where the League Cup was in the mid 90s, only nobody wants to admit it. Maybe not a debate for now, but it's true.

Could be a tale of two goalkeepers. Fantastic save to keep Benteke out.

We've got an injury-hit squad with a lot of our regular starters out injured, and we have Arsenal and Man United next week. It's not being disrespectful to the competition, Klopp has shown that he takes the cups seriously, he's shown that with the League Cup, a competition known for managers playing reserves.

It's not being disrespectful, it's prioritising, and preserving our main players to prevent even further injury ahead of crucial games. The league comes first before the FA Cup, as sad as it may seem, top four is more important, so we have to prioritise and do what's best for the squad.

This says it all, it is all about priorities, and the money is so vast in the league, that simply has to be the number one thought of any Premier League manager over and above any domestic cup competition.

We might have had a decent run in it if we didn't have so many injurys

Don't blame the newbies to the side. It's up to senior players like Benteke and Enrique to step up.
