Day off on the first 6 months, probably an automatic trigger for a 'back to work' meeting.

My best wishes to Klopp, it is never good to see anyone in hospital in need of an operation.

Hope that Klopp gets better soon. On a non LFC note, today we remember the Busby Babes, that were taken too soon on this day in the 1958 Munich Air Disaster.

What winning it ? Blimey your an optimist
We probably have more chance of winning the PL than do Man City of winning the CL.

Liverpool XI: Mignolet, Clyne, Lovren, Sakho, Moreno, Henderson, Allen, Emre Can, Lallana, Milner, Firmino.

Subs: Ward, Toure, Benteke, Sturridge, Lucas, Jordan Ibe, Flanagan.

Sturridge back again.

Ahhh! I hope the manager is ok and whatever the diagnosis and treatment he gets the what's needed, rests up and is back with his boys when he's ready.

No soft German jibes from Sam and no pain threshold questions from Sturridge, please

Sturridge will probably injure himself on that goo.

LOL! I think we all know that, but it's still early days, and anything can happen yet - - blah, blah, blah!

A slow quiet start to the game. Lovren off; replaced by Toure. Not really sure what the problem was; maybe a muscle strain?

Really hope they go all the way and clinch the title now.
Although in a way, it'll be frustrating at showing up how we haven't managed to be champions of England in 26 years .Various owners, managers and players have a lot to answer for.

Nearly half hour gone and it's been boring at both ends.We seem to have targetted their left hand side to attack but have no end product without a recognised striker.Same old story.

Chronically poor in the final third. No one will shoot, bullied out of posession. Same old, same old.

At home and no one can manage a shot in the box for a whole half.Moreno getting the furthest forward it seems and he certainly ain't a finisher.

People are celebrating like they've won the title already. I just need to remember the 13/14 season. We didn't get anywhere near the same amount of love, though, except for in the media, but that was more of a Gerrard love-in. Other fans weren't so happy for us.

We needed 7 points out of 3 remaining games and we messed it up, it's not over yet.

The club really want to charge season ticket owners a fortune for this kind of football

Daniel Sturridge unavailable for the second half, after injuring his hand signing Jurgen Klopp's "Get Well Soon" card during the interval...

Bog awful first half. I can't blame fans for wanting to walkout if they get served up more of the same.

Allen off injured as well now; replaced by Jordan Ibe. I would've just brought Sturridge on and knocked Milner back into CM.

There's not many who are saying they think that it's over but people saying they have a great chance which is true and just generally supporting an amazing fairytale story...

When you guys were chasing it in 13/14 I was massively hoping u did it as well as a team who hadn't won it for nearly a quarter of a century...
Also, no comparison between a team who have won the league 18 times and Leicester City.

Also you have/had been perennial rivals and enemies of some of the surrounding teams. Leicester aren't.

The fact that we haven't won the league in a quarter of a decade means our 18 titles become largely irrelevant in this conversation.

And it wasn't just competitors and Everton/Man United fans who were rooting for us to fail, or joined in mocking us for the entirety of last season, even when teams weren't playing us they were singing the Gerrard slipping song.
