Sturridge off- Origi on....and scores with his first touch. 4-0

Sturridge would've loved that through ball as well.

I go to get a drink and I miss the fourth goal...got to see #5, though!

This is how you take advantage of a struggling side.

Five different scorers. Rout!

If this isn't what the doctor ordered it'll do until what the doctor ordered gets here.

Enjoying our display but feel sorry for Villa. A warning for all clubs of any size that successive poor owners and managers will only end up with pretty much nailed on relegation.

What dumb and dumber could've done to us.

At least our future looks bright. More of the same for the rest of the season please lads

This is the difference having strikers gives us. I know Villa are rubbish, but it's good to see 5 different players for us on target.

This could well be the confidence booster that you guys have needed for a long while, I feel a bit sorry for your upcoming Europa League opponents.

The only slight downside of this for me is that Liverpool have so many scorers they've forced the Spurs-Man City game off the results front page on Freeview teletext.

I bet Klopp can't believe he only has one game to prepare for this week

Great form to take into Europe then the League Cup final.
Don't let it get to your heads though lads, Augsburg will be a lot tougher than today.

I think he hardly got a touch of the ball anyway. He has few chances left now to prove his worth, shame, as he's a nice guy, just can't get those goals he desperately needs.

Our bonus there is that Klopp will know them.

Villa are an awful mess. It's almost difficult to believe that such a club is going to be relegated, but, without being an expert, I fully blame the owner for their downfall.

We've played really well, moved the ball about relentlessly and been clinical in the box with finishing. And I believe we can still play better. On paper it was our best line-up of the season and they have provided our best result of the season ( although the best performance was still against City ) .

I guess the cup final team might just pick itself now and another good performance needed at Wembley to set us up for a very difficult March in the PL: home games against City and Chelsea; away games at Palace and Southampton.
